Many many years ago I didn't think much of philosophy. I thought it was bogus. As I grew older my attitude changed. Now I try to think on both sides of the fence - the optimist side and the pessimist side. Both have their pros and cons.

Yes, the hole is an integral part of the doughnut. What is a doughnut if it has no hole? Without a hole it's no longer a doughnut.
