Plague: One Scientist's Intrepid Search for the Truth About Human Retroviruses and Chronic Disease
This is extremely serious - and absolutely the truth. There are hundreds of state and local public facilities that took money to set up bio-weapons labs, and safety is always a dire concern. In my opinion, it's only a matter of time before they purposely let a horribly deadly virus/bacteria combo loose and their target population will be dead. Most of these they've already seen caused death to humans and animals in 24 to 36 hours and nothing stops them. They are highly contagious. But -- that's the point.
