Surprise, The World Spins On
As I type this — having gone to bed around 1 a.m. and back up now just after 4 — the government is still shut down.

I know what you're thinking.  "How am I still alive?"  Seriously.  The government is shut down and the world is spinning on.  You and I are still alive.  In a few hours, my kids will go off to a school that will still be open.

OBAMA NAMES ANOTHER LACKEY TO A POSITION OF POWER

Dear Conservatives,

President Obama and his Big Labor puppet masters are trying to get yet another union militant on the National Labor Relations Board.

And this one is a direct slap in the face.

As you may recall, over the summer a handful of Republican Senators joined every Democrat to let Barack Obama pack the labor board with union militants literally and publicly chosen by AFL-CIO czar Richard Trumka.

The ONLY thing those Republicans got out of the “deal” was that Obama would not re-nominate Richard Griffin and Sharon Block to be members of the Board.

So what did Obama do?

He nominated Griffin for a different job at the Board -- the General Counsel -- the office in charge of prosecuting unfair labor practices by both unions and management.

It is hard to imagine a worse nominee.

“Liberal” Kirsten Powers rightfully rips Churches

by Shoebat Foundation on  September 28, 2013  in BlogGeneral
By Ben Barrack
Kirsten Powers is a liberal but she also has a history of making the conservative argument when would-be controversial stories should be placed front and center by churches because the mainstream media refuses to do so. Consider Kermit Gosnell, the former proprietor of a modern day concentration camp. His trial was reminiscent of Nuremberg. The banality of evil was on full display. It was a story tailor-made for the mainstream media to ignore. If there was an entity that could have – and should have – picked up the baton and forced it to the headlines, it was the churches.
Powers: Nails Churches for ignoring Christian Persecution.
They did not. You know who did? The “liberal” Kirsten Powers at the liberal Daily Beast. The pro-choice liberal did what the pro-life churches would not; she called attention to Gosnell’s Nazistic atrocities. She did what churches had an obligation to do but didn’t. Odds are quite good that churchgoers who even know the name Kermit Gosnell, likely learned it from Powers, not their pastors.

Senate Democrats Reject GOP Obamacare Delay, Force Abortion Funding
Senate Democrats today, on a party-line vote, rejected the House Republicans’ effort Saturday night to delay Obamacare, and stop abortion funding and promotion.
The Senate yanked out the House-approved amendments on the bill to fund the federal government, meaning it rejected amendments to strike abortion funding from Obamcare and to strike the HHS mandate that compels religious groups to pay for birth control and drugs that may cause abortions.

DEMOCRAT IDIOCY REVEALED -

Why?
By Lee S Gliddon Jr

We are faced with a governmental shutdown for one simple reason. That reason is Obama and Senator Harry Reid would rather see America be economically crippled by absolutely inane legislation, Obamacare, than meet the nation's needs.

Both Obama and Reid care nothing about the jobs to be lost or the curtailing of work hours that reduce the earnings so long as each continues spending of the tax dollars collected from the pay of the very people they refuse to listen to.

Which Party has threatened a governmental shutdown repeatedly?

The answer is undeniable. DEMOCRATS.

Why?

They know that the main stream media will blame whoever Obama directs them to blame!

What these two idiots have failed to take into account is their demanding that, "young people remain insured on their parents health plans until they attain age 26!" That means any person under age 26 has existing healthcare if their parents have coverage.
