Monster Storms ’Scour’ Midwest; More on the Way, Says Weather Service

At least two people were killed and 20 injured in Oklahoma as a severe storm system generated several tornadoes Sunday in Kansas, Oklahoma and Iowa, leveling neighborhoods and sending frightened residents scurrying for shelter as extreme conditions are expected to linger across the Midwest.

The tornadoes, high winds and hail were part of a massive, northeastward-moving storm system that stretched from Texas to Minnesota.

Victims and emergency responders might not get much of a reprieve, as the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Storm Prediction Center was forecasting similar weather for Monday over much of the same area.

A storm spotter told the National Weather Service that the tornado "scoured" the landscape in the park and an area along Interstate 40. Officials said drivers should expect delays along the highway in Shawnee as crews continue to clean up storm debris. Westbound Interstate 40 was closed Sunday night at U.S. 177 after storms ripped through the area. U.S. 177 was also shut down because of vehicle accidents caused by the severe weather.

Violent thunderstorms were forecast to hit the central United States on Monday, threatening to bring additional hail, heavy rain and tornadoes to the region stricken by a deadly twister during the weekend.

The implementation and enforcement of ObamaCare promises to become the most intense assault on the rights of Americans in the history of our nation. President Obama has carefully chosen the most radical of radicals to run the agencies responsible for the enforcement of ObamaCare’s outrageous mandates.

Against the backdrop of increasing scandal in and around the Obama administration, it is vitally important that we not be distracted from stopping the creation of the machinery that leftists hope to use to install Big Government tyranny over the American people. If confirmed as Secretary of Labor, Thomas Perez will be responsible for enforcing the “employer mandate” of ObamaCare.

Thomas Perez, strongly anti-business and maniacally pro-union, will be forcing businesses into compliance with ObamaCare’s many mandates in the workplace.

In the role of one of ObamaCare’s chief enforcement officials, Perez will be working in tandem with the IRS’ ObamaCare enforcement division – now headed by Sarah Hall Ingram.

Ingram, of course, is the Internal Revenue Service official who was in charge of IRS tax-exempt credentialing at the time the unit targeted tea party, conservative, pro-life, and religious groups. Now she has been promoted to head up the IRS ObamaCare compliance and penalty enforcement division!

Both the IRS and the Department of Labor will be closely coordinating with the Department of Health and Human Services, the central and dominant ObamaCare agency, under the direction of HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius.

OBAMA KNEW ABOUT THE IRS TARGETING CONSERVATIVES! HE LIED YET AGAIN!

Dear Conservatives,

Already being called "Obama's Watergate," the White House emphatically told reporters "they had no idea" that the IRS was targeting conservative, evangelical and pro-Israel groups and that they "absolutely did not" have any communications with the agency about it.

Just like they did with the Benghazi terror attacks, reports indicate the Obama administration sought to hide the IRS scandal so it wouldn't hurt the President's re-election bid.

An anonymous Cincinnati IRS official told The Washington Post, "Everything comes from the top. We don’t have any authority to make those decisions without someone signing off on them. There has to be a directive.”

With skepticism thick on Capitol Hill, Rep. Rob Portman (R-OH), told CBS News that an "appointment of a special counsel ... independent of the White House is necessary." He added, "There's a lot of issues here we need to get to the bottom of. We need to find out what really happened and ensure that we can begin to regain some trust in our government.”
