Vice President Joe Biden has been unleashed by President Obama to blitz his former colleagues in the Senate and rally support for gun control. It’s a familiar pattern, reminiscent of the administration’s arm-twisting when ObamaCare was forced through Congress.
Even though opinion polls continue to report that the American people are not in favor of gun control, we dare not take the President’s aggressive manipulation of our elected representatives lightly! Joe Biden’s commission from Barack Obama is our call to launch equally aggressive counter-measures!

Last week, Vice President Joe Biden told a group of gun control advocates organized by NYC Mayor Bloomberg’sMayors Against Illegal Guns that the upcoming Senate vote on gun control is “just the beginning.”
Freedom-loving Americans need to heed Joe Biden’s warning!
Today, TheHill.com has revealed the Obama administration’s next phase of an all-out campaign to push gun control through the legislature.
The Hill is calling Biden’s tactics a “full court press” as he is pressuring Senators during their recess on a regular basis in anticipation of a vote when the Senators return to session.

Campus Carry is scheduled for a hearing - Wednesday, April 3rd at 8:00am in Assembly Judiciary. Please plan to attend and voice your support. If you can't attend, you can click here to make sure your support of AB143 is on the record. The committee needs to hear from as many of the Nevadans who support this bill as possible.
Assembly Bill 143 would allow law-abiding, trained adults to carry their concealed firearm on our Nevada System of Higher Education properties, and when I first announced I would be reintroducing this legislation, I knew there would be a lot of feedback. I never imagined there would be this much support and media coverage!
I am a strong supporter of our 2nd Amendment Rights, and I introduced this bill because I have two beautiful daughters who attend the College of Southern Nevada. I worry about their safety, and I want them to have the ability to protect themselves if needed.
After introducing AB143, I was given the privilege of meeting a young woman who believes this legislation would have allowed her to take charge of her own safety the night she was raped at the University of Nevada, Reno. I'm hoping Amanda will join us on Wednesday to tell her story and share her support of this bill.

The Nevada State Senate this afternoon approved SJR 15, a resolution to shove a new $780 million tax hike up the mining industry’s wazoo, by a vote of 17-4.
The only votes in opposition were by conservative Republican Sens. James Settelmeyer,Don Gustavson and Barbara Cegavske, along with moderate Republican Sen. Pete “Tax My Meat” Goicoechea, whose entire district is basically in mining’s back yard.
And just as a helpful reminder, the Dirty Half-Dozen tax-hiking Republican state senators (April fools?) who voted with the Democrats, the liberal media and PLAN (Progressive Liberal Alliance of Nevada) to give mining the shaft were:
