For anybody that ever argued with anybody about anything, it is obvious that the supposed fiscal cliff negotiations are a farce. It isn’t even making good soap opera. For starters, Republicans have no idea how to win any argument, and apparently have no paid coaches as their performance never seems to improve. More importantly, Republicans cannot even see that progressive Democrats have no real desire to fix anything. Their objective is to outfox the American people into believing Republicans and conservatives will hurt their chances for a good life. This strategy appears to be working because Republicans offer no defense or offense.

On Election Day 2012 the voters in California voted for an increase in sales tax, and a massive increase in State Income Tax on the wealthiest in the State. The claim was that the money was needed for education, but in reality it is going to be used to help pay for rising pension costs. The unions are powerful in California, and ensured that Proposition 30 passed, and Proposition 32, which would have limited how unions fund their favorite politicians, failed. In Britain, two-thirds of the top earners fled the country after the tax rate against them hit 50%. The resulting unintended consequence was a UK £7 billion loss in revenue. When the United Kingdom announced they would reduce that rate to 45%, 10,000 millionaires returned.

At what point will they stop arresting anyone for anything? Didn't Nancy Pelosi say 'no one is illegal'? I mean if lawbreakers aren't illegal any more, then they are apparently just run of the mill Democrats and desirable as party members. On the other hand, if bad guys are actually good, then good people are bad, right? So look out, folks. If you are a law abiding citizen, they may come after you.
