Excerpt: Mitt Romney demanded an apology from President Obama over allegations that Romney misled the public over his tenure at Bain Capital, declaring that he had “no role whatsoever in managing Bain Capital after 1999.” “He sure as heck ought to say that he’s sorry for the kinds of attacks that are coming from his team,” Romney told ABC. “If I were president of the United States I would put a stop to it and apologize to my campaign for what has been done by his.”

As his re-election hopes dim, the mainstream “progressive” media continue to run interference for Barack Obama. It’s predictable. They no longer even try to hide it. They persist in slobbering on their over-hyped, under-capable would-be savior as his campaign collapses around them. The sycophancy is embarrassing and the desperation palpable.

Most recently, they’ve created a stir around the NAACP crowd booing Mitt Romney at the decidedly liberal group’s national convention in Houston, Texas. The activist attendees didn’t like the fact that President Obama’s presumptive GOP challenger intends to repeal Obamacare if elected.

Still, what you won’t hear from the mainstream media is the fact that those very same left-leaning activists gave Mr. Romney a rousing ovation when he pledged to defend the institution of real marriage from secular extremists’ ongoing attempts to radically re-define it.

During his speech, Romney quoted former NAACP Executive Director Benjamin Hooks, noting that the family “remains the bulwark and the mainstay of the black community. That great truth must not be overlooked.”

A Defense of the U.S. Constitution From Its Domestic Enemies.

If President Obama signs a “global warming” treaty at the United Nations’ “Climate Change” Conference in Copenhagen this December; and if the U.S. Senate ratifies it, will it become part of the supreme Law of the Land?

We hear it said that whenever the President signs, and the Senate ratifies, a Treaty, it becomes part of “the supreme law of the land”. But is that True? Not necessarily! Walk with me, and I will show you how to think through this question, and how to analyze other constitutional questions which come your way.

You must always ask: Is this authorized in the Constitution? Where exactlyin the Constitution? And precisely what is authorized by the Constitution? Let us start at the beginning:

1. Does the federal government have authority to make treaties? Can treaties be about any subject? Or, are the proper objects of treaties limited by The Constitution?

Art II, Sec. 2, cl. 2, U.S. Constitution, says, respecting the powers of the President:

He shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two-thirds of the Senators present concur…

Dr. Shakil Afridi’s appeal to be freed from prison in Pakistan is scheduled for July 19.

As you may know, Dr. Afridi is facing a 33-year prison sentence for aiding the CIA in the successful mission that led to the death of Osama Bin Laden.

Pakistan is supposedly our ally in the war on terror.

Yet when this courageous doctor assisted our military in hunting down the man behind the mass murder of over 3,000 American citizens, Pakistan’s government fabricated charges to jail Dr. Afridi.

Some ally.

Our budget is beyond busted, and our foreign policy rewarding the worst of the world’s dictators because “the other guy” might be worse traps us in an endless cycle of funneling your hard-earned money to autocrats who do not share our values or promote America’s interests.

And that weakens our national security.

US General: Shariah Is Here Now

Retired Army Lt. General William Boykin is sounding the alarm the Islamic Shariah law is already inside the United States and presents a very real threat to the future of America.

In addressing a synagogue in Stoughton, MA Boykin said, “There is a threat to this country from Shariah and the Muslim Brotherhood.” He also noted that the Muslim Brotherhood has not been a recent phenomenon, but rather has been a presence in the U.S. since at least 1962.

“The new Egyptian president, Mohamed Morsi, said he joined the Muslim Brotherhood in 1978 while he was in the United States of America. People who say that the Muslim Brotherhood is not in America are not dealing in reality,” Boykin said.
