Morris goes on: "The Democrats are digging in to continue the lending program because the firms that have already gotten loans can't pay them back unless the welfare continues to flow. If it is shut off, they risk having dozens of Solyndras to explain away, each with its own sordid history of campaign donations and special influence." [Emphasis Ours]

The Difference between Democrats & Republicans
The Difference between Democrats & Republicans
I recently asked my friend's little girl
what she wanted to be when she grows up.
She said she wanted to be President some day.
Both of her parents, liberal Democrats, were standing there, so I asked her,
"If you were President, what would be the first thing you would do?"
She replied, "I'd give food and houses to all the homeless people."
Her parents beamed with pride.
"Wow...what a worthy goal." I told her.
"But you don't have to wait until you're President to do that.
You can come over to my house and mow the lawn, pull weeds,
and sweep my driveway, and I'll pay you $50.
Then I'll take you over to the grocery store where the homeless guy hangs
out, and you can give him the $50 to use toward food and a new house.
She thought that over for a few seconds,
then she looked me straight in the eye and asked,
"Wouldn't it make more sense for the homeless guy to come over and do the
work, and you can just pay him the $50 directly?"
I said,
"Welcome to the Republican Party."
Her parents still aren't speaking to me.
ANOTHER OBAMA GREEN JOBS RIP OFF?
Green jobs’ farm in Colorado sheds jobs after receiving $200M in stimulus funds

President Barack Obama’s “green jobs” initiatives suffered another major blow late Monday, as the nonprofit National Renewable Energy Lab in Golden, Colorado, announced a plan to lay off roughly 10 percent of its staff through a voluntary buy-out plan.
According to the Denver Post, the lab plans to eliminate between 100 and 150 of its 1,350 jobs. The Obama administration supported the NREL in 2009 with roughly $200 million in stimulus grants. Energy Secretary Stephen Chu visited Golden in May 2009 to promote the NREL as a beneficiary of those funds.
SUPPORT 'A-PLUS EDUCATION REFORM'
A-PLUS Education Reform |
Conservatives, We hear a lot these days about government over-regulation in the business community, but not enough focus is given to government over-regulation in education. Programs like No Child Left Behind (NCLB), which is just one of 150 government-run education programs, impose a top-down bureaucracy that restricts real education. Because state and local governments know best, Congress should pass a proposal called the Academic Partnerships Lead Us to Success Act, or A-PLUS. It allows states to opt out of NCLB’s bureaucracy, putting the power of education back into the hands of the states, local governments and parents. |
BIDEN - KEPT DUMB OR JUST DUMB?
Joe Biden doesn’t know who Van Jones is
On AM Tampa Bay on Tuesday morning, Vice President Joe Biden was asked by Jack Harris about the Occupy Wall Street Movement. The VP said “I really don’t know about the Van Jones group, except what I read in the press." He then says of Jones, "whoever he is." Read More

CAIN HAS REVEALED A PLAN THAT WOULD WORK FOR ALL OF US!
Herman Cain’s 9-9-9 Plan
On the face of it, Heman Cain’s 9-9-9 tax plan to reorganize federal finances on a three-legged stool, with 9 percent personal income tax, 9 percent corporate income tax, and 9 percent national sales tax sounds like a winner. Remove all the complicated exemptions and deductions and let’s get real! But the obvious question is: who benefits? On the face of it, the rich. Surely they will benefit if high income tax rates and corporate income tax rates come down.Read More

OBAMA PRAYING TO IMPOSE MARTIAL LAW ON U.S.A.
Do Not Allow President Obama To Impose Martial Law
Some people are predicting that there will be a major economic collapse, caused by unsustainable debts and other government intrusions into private economic matters, and by central banks’ excessive money-printing. In America, the Federal Reserve’s continued irresponsible and reckless actions will result in further devaluing the currency and huge increases in price inflation, especially in food and energy prices. Some are predicting that there will be food shortages, looting, rioting, and civil unrest and violence in America.Read More

MORE TAMPERING WITH U.S. ECONOMY BY OBAMA'S STOOGE
Bernanke says ‘we need to make sure that the recovery continues,’ plans to further tamper with economy
Editor’s Note: Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, while expecting different results. Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke says the economic recovery “is close to faltering” and the central bank is prepared to take further steps to support it. The economy is growing more slowly than the Federal Reserve had expected, Bernanke said Tuesday before the congressional Joint Economic Committee. He said the biggest factor depressing consumer confidence is poor job growth.
