OBAMA COMPARED HIMSELF TO REAGAN THEN MLK - HE IS MORE LIKE THE TITANIC !!!

President Obama's summer woes have dragged his approval rating to an all-time low, sinking below 40% for the first time in Gallup's daily tracking poll.

New data posted Sunday shows that 39% of Americans approve of Obama's job performance, while 54% disapprove. Both are the worst numbers of his presidency.

Obama's approval rating has hovered in the 40% range for much of 2011, peaking at 53% in the weeks following the death of Osama bin Laden.

But Americans' view of his job performance continued to tick downward as the debt-ceiling debate heated up. By the time he signed legislation averting a federal default, he was mired in the low-40% range.

The polling setback comes as the Republican race to unseat him has kicked into overdrive. The past week has been dominated by the activity in Iowa ahead of the Ames Straw Poll, and the entrance of a new contender in Texas Gov. Rick Perry. The candidates have routinely assailed Obama's leadership in appealing to conservative activists who dominate this stage of the nominating contest.

Obama is set to launch something of a counter-offensive on Monday with a three-day bus tour of the Midwest, a trip that includes two stops in Iowa. The White House denied that the itinerary was politically motivated, however.

PROVE HARRY 'HANDS UP' REID WRONG - TEA PARTY IS NOT A QUITTER LIKE HE IS!

Can Harry Reid wait out the Tea Party?

The Senate majority leader seems to think so.
Reid sat down with more than 30 Review-Journal staffers Friday afternoon for an hour-long Q&A session at the newspaper's offices. The bulk of the back and forth was dedicated to federal spending and how Congress might tame exploding budget deficits.
Reid blamed everything that ails Washington and the nation on Republicans. He slammed the GOP for its refusal to go along with tax increases as part of this month's debt-ceiling deal, saying hard-core fiscal conservatives are making it impossible to strike a long-term deal that slows the growth of the national debt.
"(Senate Minority Leader) Mitch McConnell has done a good job bringing the country to a standstill," Reid said.

UNIONS RESORT TO DIRTY TACTICS (again)

Dear Conservatives,

"We should all pay them a visit at their house and let them know we are always [there]," one striking union militant wrote on Facebook this week.

Communications Workers of America (CWA) and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) union bosses have ordered tens of thousands of Verizon employees to abandon their jobs and report to a union picket line.

The early reports of rampant intimidation and militancy are disturbing but sadly unsurprising.

Former Comptroller General: Sudden And Very Painful Economic Collapse Is Coming 11 Signs That The US Government Has Become An Overgrown Monstrosity That Almost Every American Is Dependent Upon For Economic Survival 300x300
Former head of the Government Accountability Office and Comptroller General of the United States, David Walker has issued a stark warning following the compromise deal to raise the debt ceiling.
“We are less than three years away from where Greece had its debt crisis as to where they were from debt to GDP,” Walker highlighted in an interview with CNBC earlier today.
Greece’s ratio of debt to GDP has surpassed 100% and is heading towards 150%, a factor that has meant without bailouts from the EU and the IMF, the country would have defaulted.
The US is now nearing the same 100% margin with GDP growth floundering below 1%.

When I ran for president in 2008, I tried to pressure the Republican candidates to take a hard line against illegal immigration. For this, Perry called me a racist.
When he first took office as governor in 2001, Perry went to Mexico and bragged about his law that granted “the children of undocumented workers” special in-state tuition at Texas colleges, the first state in the nation to do so.

OBAMA ENJOYS SUPPORT OF MUSLIMS

Submitted by: Kurt J Fitsch

With President Barack Obama’s overall approval ratings hovering around all-time lows, one group remains strongly supportive of Obama and his performance on the job: Muslim Americans.

An overwhelming 80 percent of Muslim Americans approve of the way Obama is handling his job, according to a newly released survey by the Abu Dhabi Gallup Center, a partnership between Gallup and the Crown Prince Court of Abu Dhabi.
