U.N. WANTS TO HAVE US BELIEVE THEY ARE VALUABLE TO THE U.S.A. IN INCREASING OUR DUES!

Eight Billion Dollars for the U.N. -- The Other Budget Scandal

Published August 06, 2011
| FoxNews.com

For the past few weeks, we here in the U.S. have been obsessed with the debt ceiling increase and our massive budget deficit. At the same time another budget that we spend an inordinate amount of money on has flown under the radar during this vociferous and contentious debate.
While we are in an unprecedented age of austerity and the U.S. has been flirting with default, the United Nations has continued its unchecked and profligate spending.
Last week it was announced that our share of the United Nations’ budget in 2010 had increased to nearly $8 billion, a shocking 21% increase from the year prior.
Think about that for a moment.

GEITHNER BATTLING OBAMA FOR 'AMERICA'S BIGGEST LIAR' TITLE

Treasury Secretary Geithner said "No Risk"......Calls are coming for his Resignation

Darla posted yesterday about the S&P downgrade of U.S. credit yesterday. You can see and participate in that discussion here:

In April of this year, the Secretary had this to say:

'No risk' the US will lose its top credit rating, says Treasury's Geithner

By Michael O'Brien - 04/19/11 10:33 AM ET
Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner said Tuesday there is "no risk" the U.S. will lose its top credit rating amid a new analysis that revised its outlook on American debt to "negative."
Geithner took to the airwaves of financial news networks to push back against a report Monday by Standard & Poor's that lowered its outlook on U.S. debt to "negative," reflecting political uncertainty over whether lawmakers will reach an agreement to address long-term debt.

WHY WE WERE DOWNGRADED REQUIRES LITTLE THOUGHT!

United States of America Long-Term debt rating lowered to “AA+” on political risks and rising debt burden; outlook negative.
And so it begins.  With the outlook, it is clear that S&P believes this is not a one-step “and done” move either.
Why?  Oh, they were rather expansive on that point:
· The downgrade reflects our opinion that the fiscal consolidation plan that Congress and the Administration recently agreed to falls short of what, in our view, would be necessary to stabilize the government’s medium-term debt dynamics.
“We said $4 trillion and we meant it.

The person in this video is a professor (Ph.D.) at Yavapai College in Prescott , Arizona .  He puts a different spin on what Obama is doing to hurt Arizona.
Must be why the professor is rated highly by his students - 3.8 on a 4.0 scale.
This may be the best video produced on the illegal alien problems that are being experienced.

Soak the rich, eh?

They do not have the money.

A report from the Internal Revenue Service found that the rich — 8,274 people with incomes of $10 million per year or more — earned a total of $240 billion in 2009.

Even of you confiscated every dime they earned, you would barely have enough money to cover government spending for 24 days.

Of course, about a quarter of that money already goes to the federal government for federal income. So make that 18 days.

Another 227,000 people earned $1 million or more in 2009.

No Republican leader in the race or considering the race for President is equipped to fire so many government employees who are making this kind of money and benefits. These people would turn into Gremlims at the mere thought. The government would be stronger than the People and the Politician. Obama said he would be happy with 1 term as long as it was a successful term. This would no doubt put the government on a track that will not easily be turned around. There is your Change

WHY ARE WE THERE? WHO IS LOOKING OUT FOR OUR MILITARY? NOT LIBERALS, CONGRESS or OUR CinC!
