Who Is Most Dangerous?
By Lee S Gliddon Jr
I recall my dad asking me a question when I was a young boy of about 7 or 8 years of age. I have lived my life of 70+ years and keep this question foremost in my mind when listening to another person.
" Who is the most dangerous type of person? A murderer, a thief or a liar?" Dad asked.
I thought about it for a while but before I could give my answer Dad spoke.
"You know that a person that is a murderer must be watched like a hawk. You know to be on guard anytime you are near that person as you known to murder."
"You know that if a person is a thief you must keep an eye on both that person as well as your belongings."

Yet, when this administration didn't even bother to consult with Congress or explain it to the American people before going to war in Libya, the liberal media have simply lined up to praise their beloved leader.

Late last week, MRC founder Brent Bozell appeared as a guest on Sean Hannity's television show and on Fox and Friends, where he spoke of the liberal media's reckless and complete re-write of history.
Despite the media's best efforts to suggest otherwise, George W. Bush did receive Congressional approval and built a coalition before sending troops to Iraq and Afghanistan. Still, President Obama and the liberal media spent years claiming that Bush lied us into going it alone in the Iraq war. Yet, when this administration didn't even bother to consult with Congress or explain it to the American people before going to war in Libya, the liberal media have simply lined up to praise their beloved leader.
Preceding his speech tonight, the media have given President Obama ten days since the beginning of this "Kinetic Military Action," without explaining or defending his decision to the American people. The Obama-controlled media also haven't pressed him on violating his own standards on presidential use of military force. Instead, like Andrea Mitchell in the clip Brent highlights, they are eager to provide him with praise and adulation.

OBAMA - LIAR IN CHIEF!
I will make but one comment on Obama's speech respecting Libya.
"I went and met with Congress."
That is an unmitigated lie! He did not and knows it!
When someone lies all else he says is meaningless.

| 'ObamaRail' the new ObamaCare: Expensive and Unwanted “ObamaRail” is fast becoming the new “ObamaCare” for many Republicans. Conservative activists are deriding the high-speed rail proposals set out by President Obama in his State of the Union address and 2012 budget as wasteful spending that imposes new mandates on cash-strapped state governments. “Look, you look at the studies of these things, when they get built, [they] cost way more than they think,” Florida Gov. Rick Scott said shortly after he rejected $2.4 billion for a railway connecting Tampa and Orlando. Read More |
| Little progress as shutdown deadline looms Congress gave itself a three-week reprieve on a government shutdown, then spent the first 10 days on vacation. Now, lawmakers return with the shutdown deadline once again looming, and a deal seemingly as far away as ever. The House has spent more than 70 hours debating spending this year, and has produced a bill. The Senate has spent less than five hours officially debating spending, and has rejected the House bill, but has yet to produce an alternative of its own. Read More |

Someone Please Stand Up and Ask Obama the Tough Questions About What the U.S. Role Is In Libya
By KT McFarland

President Obama will no doubt give an eloquent speech tonight announcing the Obama version of "mission accomplished" in Libya. He will avoid the word "war," and say we have established a no-fly zone, prevented a slaughter of the innocents, and are turning things over to others.
He will talk at length about having forged a coalition, brought in the Arab world, and how we are fostering a new dawn of freedom in the Middle East.
He will end up making it sound as if our role in Libya was justified, it was a success, and it's over. No U.S. casualties, no boots on the ground. In short, he'll lay out what I can only call the Obama Doctrine of Limited War -- limited objectives, limited forces, limited role, limited time.
But journalists shouldn't let it end there, as if the military action in Libya was slam dunk and we've returned to the bench to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines.
The American press corps should follow up tomorrow with the questions they were taught to ask in journalism school: Mr. President give us the "Who, What, When, Where, Why and How?" Here's my take on the questions that still cry out for answers:
WE ARE BEING LED TO DESTRUCTION OF OUR PRINCIPLES !
MICHAEL GOODWIN: The Obama Doctrine Is All About Obama
By Michael Goodwin

As the first Tomahawk mis siles rained on Libya, armchair generals rushed to define "The Obama Doctrine." Most assess ments focused on Obama's antiwar statements as a candidate and decisions by past presidents to take military action in Bosnia, Iraq and Afghanistan.
All fair game -- except the conclusions were flawed. No discussion of Obama's view of a just war is complete unless it examines the impact of his magical thinking.
By that I mean his supreme confidence in his own vision and powers to remake the world. Fueled by a mixture of hubris and faculty-lounge idealism, his words and actions suggest he believes his presidency is exempt from the lessons of history and human nature.

While Slowing BP Oil Spill, Administration Slowed Flow Of Information Too, Claims Coast Guard Report

June 2010: U.S. Coast Guard's BP oil spill Unified Area Command Center in New Orleans.
WASHINGTON -- The Obama administration failed to set up an "effective" communications system during last year's BP oil spill and threatened its own credibility by "severely restricting" the release of "timely, accurate information," according to a newly released report commissioned by the U.S. Coast Guard.
Quietly posted on the Coast Guard's website two weeks ago, the report offers the first major assessment of the federal government's communications efforts during the worst oil spill in U.S. history.
"Several layers of review and approval by the White House and (Department of Homeland Security) prevented timely and effective crisis communications and hindered the Coast Guard's ability to ... (keep) stakeholders informed about the status of the response," the report reads, adding that "accurate and timely messaging from the response organization improves transparency with the public."
