It’s probably sheer folly to expect transparency from a candidate who attempts to dump his last name in the middle of a campaign. Even for Nevada, though, Rory Reid’s attempt to rinse donations through a series of strawman PACs sets records for brazenness. Jon Ralston of the Las Vegas Sun reported yesterday that Harry Reid’s son took more than 75 times the legal limit from the Economic Leadership PAC for his disastrous run for governor, which then laundered the money through 75 other PACS to get it back to Reid’s campaign coffers:

Secretary of Defense Gates stated his reason for not wanting to close the Libyan air space to be, "We would have to take out all air defense measures that Libya has."

Is that a little strange?

If you will recall when President Reagan was in office there was a bombing in Germany that resulted in the deaths of several serviceman from America. He wasted no time as he sent our war planes to bomb Libyan interests within that country. He did not seek to negate Libya's anti-aircraft defenses but sought justice. If you recall, it worked!

Now we hear a lame excuse by a lame Administration as to why America should be seen as helpless to the world! Yes...helpless!

America possesses arms that can destroy any defense measures that fair on military aircraft. Even Hussein dared not fire against our planes that bombed Iraq for fear of further destruction.

The Obama Administration is making America the laughingstock of the world! This can only be seen as purposeful and that is only serving the purposes of someone or someones other than the American people.

Recently I have been told by retired military men, "If we had known America was to turn into a country as weak as we appear we would not have even gone into the military in the first place."

It appears Obama's CHANGE is for the worse!

The Obama administration late Friday appealed a judge's orders directing the Interior Department to act on several Gulf of Mexico deepwater drilling permits.
The appeal is the latest salvo in the ongoing fight over the speed with which Interior is – or isn't – letting oil drillers get back to work after last year's BP oil spill.

He was intentionally letting guns go to Mexico?
