MEDICARE HEAD EVADES QUESTIONS AS DEMOCRATS SWOON

Medicare Chief Dodges Republican Health Law Questions in House Testimony

Dr. Donald Berwick, the man in charge of Medicare and at the heart of implementing President Obama’s health care law, faced a barrage of questions from House Republicans over concerns about the plan and on his own controversial past positions.
But Berwick mostly praised the embattled new law and sidestepped questions about his own opinions on government-run health care.
A main Republican concern about the law is that the $575 billion it requires in Medicare reductions will make it hard for seniors to find doctors and other providers.
"Medicare actuaries predict that because of the cuts in the Democrats’ health care law, 725 hospitals, 2,352 nursing homes and 1,587 home-health agencies will become unprofitable," House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp noted in questioning Berwick Thursday.
Rep. Sam Johnson, R-Texas, says 300 doctors in his state have already dropped Medicare patients.

OBAMA HAS TURNED AMERICA'S INTELLIGENCE NETWORK TO MUSH!

Is It Time for Intelligence Director Clapper to Resign?

James Clapper is a man who served his country with magnanimous distinction. He is an intellectually brilliant leader. Such a person deserves the upmost respect and gratitude for his service to this great nation. With this said, in every person’s life, there is a time to hold and a time to fold. Just this week, DNI Clapper proved it is his time to fold.
James Clapper has been placed in a very austere predicament forcing him to play political games. He took an oath throughout his career swearing “to protect against all enemies foreign and domestic.” The political game he plays conflicts with the oath he swore.
This week, the current director of national intelligence made comments degrading the true threat imposed by the Muslim Brotherhood. His comments were most likely made in an attempt to appease his masters running the White House. Make no mistake; his recent comments about the Muslim Brotherhood were nothing but intentional. His recent statements proved to the country that he failed the people in his ethical obligations of seeking and speaking the truth about current threats as Director of National Intelligence.

OBAMA HAS NO IDEA AS TO HOW TO SUPPORT AN ALLY!

Deep U.S. -Saudi rift over Egypt: Abdullah stands by Mubarak, turns to Tehran

http://www.debka.com/article/20650/The conversation between President Barack Obama and Saudi King Abdullah early Thursday, Feb. 10, was the most acerbic the US president has ever had with an Arab ruler, debkafile's Middle East sources report. They had a serious falling-out on the Egyptian crisis which so enraged the king that some US and Middle East sources reported he suffered a sudden heart attack. Rumors that he had died rocked the world financial and oil markets that morning and were denied by an adviser to the ruling family. Some Gulf sources say he has had heart attacks in the past. Those sources disclose that the call which Obama put into Abdullah, who is recuperating from back surgery at his palace in Morocco, brought their relations into deep crisis and placed in jeopardythe entire edifice of US Iran and Middle East policies.
The king chastised the president for his treatment of Egypt and its president Hosni Muhbarak calling it a disaster that would generate instability in the region and imperil all the moderate Arab rulers and regimes which had backed the United States until now. Abdullah took Obama to task for ditching America's most faithful ally in the Arab world and vowed that if the US continues to try and get rid of Mubarak, the Saudi royal family would bend all its resources to undoing Washington's plans for Egypt and nullifying their consequences...

STAND AGAINST ANYTHING HARRY REID IS FOR!

RINOs Compromise –Harry Wins Again!
Update:  With the minority–crippling Filibuster "reform" vote securely headed to defeat on its own demerits, McConnell still could not resist playing "let's make a deal" and snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. He agreed to limit the requirements for Senate approval of presidential appointees, in exchange for the hope of the change that Harry Reid will stop decorating the legislation amendment tree all by himself, and Republicans will get invited to Harry's party too.  If McConnell's feckless, "non–binding" concessions to Reid are actually ever enacted and enforced, this dirty, dumb and unnecessary deal leaves OBAMA FREE TO STACK THE COURTS WITH ACTIVIST JUDGES!

The Arab revolution and Western decline
Published 01:53 03.02.11 Latest update 01:53 03.02.11
By Ari Shavit

Two huge processes are happening right before our eyes. One is the Arab liberation
revolution. After half a century during which tyrants have ruled the Arab world, their
control is weakening. After 40 years of decaying stability, the rot is eating into
the stability. The Arab masses will no longer accept what they used to accept.
The Arab elites will no longer remain silent.

Processes that have been roiling beneath the surface for about a decade are suddenly
bursting out in an intifada of freedom. Modernization, globalization, telecommunications
and Islamization have created a critical mass that cannot be stopped. The example of
democratic Iraq is awakening others, and Al Jazeera's subversive broadcasts are fanning
the flames. And so the Tunisian bastille fell, the Cairo bastille is falling and other
Arab bastilles will fall.
