I am reminded of how Peter denied Jesus three times while in the crowd that was filled with several non-believers shouting out the name BARABBAS to Pontius Pilate as to whom Pilate should release - resulting in the crucifixion of Jesus. Many Believers today are doing the same thing by shouting out BUYDUMB or others of that ilk.
Think of the BuyDUMB SCOTUS nominee who releases pedophile's and their ilk rather than punish them according to the LAW. In my thoughts - those who ignore the Scriptures and call for releasing the criminals is todays version of those who shouted out Barabbas.
