I guess it is beyond her IQ  to understand the concept that until AFTER these Founding Fathers signed their Declaration of Independence and the Constitution was written and signed , there wasn't a country to be an *immigrant* to.  It was all considered to be discovered or conquered property of Britain. 
At least that is MY opinion on this matter.
