1930’s Iran: “Moth-eaten mullahs”
“Iran is trying to get rid of religion in its own schools…How would you like it, if we bundled up a crowd of moth-eaten mullahs and sent them to America to open up schools there?” In the 1930s it was a rhetorical question. And now it’s happening: “Lots of ‘moth-eaten’ mullahs have been sent to […]

Our thanks to Jim Shea for this. Jim has singled out the very passage (see below) I would have chosen. People are getting it and the Neocons are on a path to extinction. They exhibit two different responses to their loss of power, to whit:

The Insanely Powerful AC-130
Here you have several versions of the US AC-130: The AC-130U Spooky, and the AC-130W Stinger II, while in action during live fire exercise as part of the Emerald Warrior 2016 annual exercise in Hurlburt Field, Florida. The equipment use here: the GAU-12 Equalizer 25mm (for the AC-130U) cannons, 30 mm Bushmaster cannons (for the W version), Bofors 40 mm auto cannons, and 105mm M102 cannon. The Lockheed AC-130 gunship is a heavily armed, long-endurance ground-attack variant of the C-130 Hercules transport fixed-wing aircraft. It carries a wide array of anti-ground oriented weapons that are integrated with sophisticated sensors, navigation, and fire-control systems. Unlike other military fixed-wing aircraft, the AC-130 relies on visual targeting. Because its large profile and low operating altitudes (around 7,000 ft.) make it an easy target, it usually flies close air support missions at night.

Good News for Brian Sussman: Senate Kills Bill to Sue Him for Questioning Climate Change

SERMON - HUMILITY - MEEK CHRISTIAN TRAITS

Humility – Meek
Christian Traits

We are forever being told that to be Christian is to be both ‘humble,’ and to be ‘meek.’ What many fail to understand is that God’s Word sets forth proper definitions of these two words and most dictionaries fail to use God’s definition and seek to impose their own.

Humility- humble: 1. not proud or haughty. Not arrogant or assertive. 2. Submissive. 3. Being insignificant.

Meek: 1. Enduring injury with patience. 2. Submissive. 3. Not violent or strong.

When we look to God for His definitions we learn of a great variance in meaning as applied to these Christian traits. First we look at Humility:
