citizen parents? What is the policy behind the language requiring
two US citizen parents? Policy as used with regards to the drafting
of laws is a legal term of art. It’s analogous to concern.

mentioned in case law: Minor v. Happersett (1874) 21 Wall. 162, 166-168 "'At common law, with the nomenclature of which the framers of the constitution were familiar, it was never doubted that all children bornin a country, of parents [plural] who were its citizens [plural], became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives ornatural-born citizens, as distinguished from aliens or foreigners. Some authorities go further, and include as citizens children born within the jurisdiction, without reference to the citizenship of their parents. As to this class there have been doubts, but never as to the first. For the purposes of this case, it is not necessary to solve these doubts. It is sufficient, for everything we have now to consider, that all children, born of citizen parents within the jurisdiction, are themselves citizens.' Minor v. citizen of Kenya, a person governed by the laws of Great Britain at
the time of their birth should be considered a natural "born
citizen" of the United States as required by Article 2 Section 1
Clause 5 of the United States Constitution.
No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the
United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution,
shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any
Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the
Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within
the United States.

HAS ANYONE SEEN MY SHOTGUN?
So my almost-16-year-old daughter, Kristen, informed me
yesterday that the 16-year-old boy who she told me a couple weeks ago was “just
a friend” has since asked her to be his girlfriend…and she accepted.
Groan.
I am, of course, very happy for her. Another big step towards adulthood…which none
of us can stop. And the boy’s a good kid.
Homeschooled and working in a biz with Kristen teaching theater to other
homeschool kids.

TV ads describing inhumanity to animals are heartbreaking. If ANY money were to reach animals depicted I would give, but the organization running those ads has NO INTEREST in the animals shown as their interest is in LINING THEIR POCKETS!
