PS I was an MEP from [dates deleted to protect the identity of the emailer--Don] and saw and felt for myself the air of panic that struck among Europhile MEPs several times during earlier stages of the crisis.I was in parliament in Brussels this week with ... deletia... campaigning against the insane US/EU policies in those areas, and I can say that there is no hint of panic now.The inhabitants of the Brussels zoo seem resigned to losing Greece and don't seem to care. They think it is too small to matter and that they have sealed it off. "Let it sink and be a lesson to the others that we are tough" appears to be the consensus.More interesting to concentrate on gender politics, fantasies about stopping the migrant flood by pouring aid into Africa, and rattling their little sabres against Russia. The lunatics run the Brussels asylum!
