CAIRO (AP) — The text of the Egyptian military statement issued Monday warning the armed forces will intervene if the demands of the people aren't met in 48 hours.

"Egypt and the whole world witnessed yesterday demonstrations by the great people of Egypt expressing their opinion in an unprecedented, peaceful and civilized way.

Everyone saw the movement of the Egyptian people and heard their voices with the greatest respect and concern. It is necessary that the people receive a reply to their movement and the call from every party with any responsibility in the dangerous circumstances surrounding the nation.

As a main party in the considerations of the future and based on their patriotic and historic responsibilities to protect security and stability, the Armed Forces state the following:

"Dave from California" McKeon - the congressman's son who's running to "save" the Clark County Republican Party from the principled leaders currently in charge, went on the Alan Stock Show this morning to respond to allegations of domestic violence made by his ex-wife.

And proceeded to commit political-suicide-by-conservative-talkshow-host!

Yes, it was THAT bad.

Turns out, the allegations against him are true...at least according to the court. Oh, and to McKeon...sort of.

Indeed, while McKeon admitted that the court found him guilty of spousal battery, he stills says the accusations weren't true and he just admitted to them to get the divorce proceedings over with and because he didn't have a good attorney.

Seriously? Seriously.

Excerpt: When you take a quick summary of our nations 316 Million people, who is left that can actually contribute to our nations economy or pay our debts? Hard to think about? Well now try to comprehend how much "more" can these same people could give over the next decade to pay down our nations $16 trillion debt and continue carrying the costs of the other 70% of Americans? The NUMBers - "Something is not adding up" Of the 316 Million Americans, there are 156 Million in the civilian labor force with 146 Million falling into a low-income category that does not make enough to have a net gain for contributing to tax revenues. Does that mean ONLY 10 Million people contribute to our nations economy? My NUMBers put it at 95 Million or 30% net gainers, but it may actually be that bad... but hey, I 'm an optimist!

In California,some of the $910 million is going for rich compensation packages for exchange employees ($360,000 a year for the executive director). More than half the funds are being handed out in contracts to third parties, and the lion’s share of those contracts are for what the exchange terms “outreach.” In truth, the money is going to build Democratic Party enrollment. (Wow, a dishonest system set up by the party in power to serve their interests. Who would have ever thought of it? Although this one is so bad that maybe it deserves some kind of reward. 1. The “Evolving” Energy Policies of President Bystander

In a "groundbreaking" speech Tuesday at Georgetown University, Barack Obama rehashed the same anti-Big Oil themes and half-baked energy policies that have marked his Administration since 2009. (See here and here for historical examples.)

One change: President Obama has decided he likes natural gas*, and credits "Federally supported technology", an implicit endorsement of fracking (its name is still as taboo as that other F-word). He’s still not crazy about oil, but since we’re producing more of it, he may as well claim credit.
