Almost as interesting as Ayers’ speech itself, perhaps, was how the leftist radical wasintroduced by the university .  One girl, who described herself as a doctoral student at the university, spoke of the privilege they would have with their honored guest, in an “evening [of] radical imagination.” Two others, an professor at the university and a graduate student, remarked: “Most of us have in one way or another acknowledged the sovereign authority of the U.S. government– or the state of Oregon– in order to be here tonight, either admission to the university, , or just paying the parking meter.  We have not, however, asked permission of the [Native Americans] whose ancestral home this is, and to fail to acknowledge that this remains disputed territory would in effect be taking sides, [and] reinforce the erasure of indigenous history and indigenous peoples.”

CONGRESS MUST GAIN SOME COMMON-SENSE AND STOP PAYING OUR TAX MONEY TO TERRORISTS!

I cannot describe my anger at this. Our government FORCES us to pay for welfare to these alleged refugees and then these US government protegees try to kill us.

Look, we expect terrorists to kill people. It's what they do. But these terrorists were aided and abetted by our government,which the brain dead citizenry trusts to protect us. Not only did the government turn a deaf ear to Russia's warnings that the Tsarnaevs were would-be terrorists, and made no effort to search or detain them at the marathon, but when these terrorists first came they were given YOUR money.

This money was not donated by you. It was STOLEN from you by socialist bureaucrats who literally could care less whether you live or die.

In a very real way, you and I paid these terrorists to harm us. Do you realize that?

What's there not to be mad about?

As I said earlier, if we were only dealing with the mafia, they would force us to pay them as part of their protection racket, and then if we paid, they would leave us alone. In other words, the mafia has a code of honor.

Our government doesn't even have that. We pay their ransom and even then they open the doors to our enemies and let them kill us. That is far beyond mafia evil!

BREAKING: Kermit Gosnell Judge Drops Three Abortion-Infanticide Charges The judge in the trial of abortion practitioner Kermit Gosnell has acquitted him of three of the eight murder charges the abortion business owner faces in his murder trial.

Gosnell faces eight total murder counts — one or killing a woman in a botched abortion and seven for killing babies in abortion-infanticides that involved live-birth abortions and snipping their necks after birth.

Open Letter to the Alabama Legislature on Common Core

            Providing knowledge and the freedom to make their own choices for future Alabama citizens is the responsibility of every current Alabama citizen. From all that has been learned of about the real intent behind the common core state standards initiative, it is concluded that turning over to the federal government the mandating of what is taught to Alabama students is less harmful than what will not be taught. There is no indication that American history our founding principles will be taught, resulting in nothing more than worker drones subservient to the will of the state in just a couple of generations.

            You are urged to carefully consider the consequences of any vote you take on issues relating to any federal government plan regarding education.

1.  The Other Side of the Coin

Yesterday I made clear my thinking that those in the center-right coalition who are pushing the Gang of 8 plan are coordinating attacks on conservatives that are deeply harmful, inappropriate, and often off base.

But I would be remiss if I did not devote a single post as well to the opposite side of the coin — those who oppose the Gang of Eight plan.

In particular, the personal attacks by some conservative pundits on Marco Rubio personally. He has chosen take up a deeply divisive issue and there are some on the right who have long crossed the line in their attacks on his person and character.

There are some fair attacks. When Marco Rubio ran against Charlie Crist, he used against Crist the Heritage study he now seeks distance from. That’s fair. It is fair that much of the present plan is similar to that which he campaigned against.
