Some of my more naive correspondents can't quite wrap their heads around the concept of government being out of control and despotic, leaning toward dictatorship.

I hope the below link helps, but sometimes wonder if anything will. Until it's too late.

Here are the actual rantings of a 'law enforcement' official whose corrupt city has somehow spawned enormous percentages of murder per capita, saying if anyone in this hyper-dangerous area DARES to protect themselves, his men will kill them!

Think about that. Does anyone think we can trust the government with guns? I trust anyone on this list with an arsenal of machine guns more than I trust the government with a night stick!

When are we going to wake up and realize America is a powder keg?

Comment:  We'd say this alone thoroughly justifies all "Birthers" in keeping or getting firearms. What's more, anyone who wants to keep their guns, all they have to say now is that they are "Birthers" and there is a clear and present danger "out there" against them.
