Roberson’s Republican Obama-‘speak’

Irrelevant of political party, two political characteristics in particular really irritate me – arrogance and double-talk. They mix easily together, but make a distasteful product. I have never met Nevada State Senator Mike Roberson, but his recent political activity demonstrates he apparently has become just such a product.
Realistically, I know it is not uncommon for a candidate to say whatever is “popular” to the voters at the time….and do quite the opposite once elected. That does not mean I like it or accept it, but with my relatively small voice, I generally do not put much effort into trying to point out such reversals to a generally ignorant voting public.
I wish the major media sources would.
Our current President has exhibited an abundance of both arrogance and double-talk and I get rather irritated when the general media does not make more of an issue with his reversals in regards to policies and issues ranted and raved for and against during his earlier campaigns; but, as an admitted politically prejudiced observer, I accept this as ‘just the way things are’ relative to media coverage of this President.

Fellow Citizen,
San Bernardino, California is bankrupt.
So bankrupt, in fact, that it is cutting 80 police officers from its force because it can't cut the pensions and other benefits it has promised to its other employees and retirees.
City Attorney Jim Penman, when asked about the rising crime rate in San Bernardino at a city council meeting a few days ago, could only acknowledge that "We don't have enough police offers...and too many criminals."
His final piece of advice: "Lock your doors and load your guns."

Today, according to the U. S. Government Printing Office, Title 26 of the U. S. Code of Federal Regulations(the part written by the IRS) is 13,458 pages. When you add the part written by Congress, the grand total comes to 16,845 pages. Let's just say that there are 1,000 words to each page, that produces a word count of 16,845,000 words to govern the taxing of income in the United States. (NOTE: There are 783,000 words in the bible) In contrast, the Revenue Act of 1913, which established the Income Tax as the principal debt collector for the loans to the government from the Federal Reserve, was a few pages and the bottom tax rate (no deductions) was 1% over an income threshold of $3,000 and the top rate was 7% over income of $500,000. It was the first introduction of the progressive income tax where large wage earners would be charged a higher rate than lower wage earners, in direct violation of the equal protection clause of the U. S. Constitution. (we have covered this unconstitutional inequity in previous articles)

DENVER AIRPORT...A 'HIDEY HOLE' FOR LIBERALS?

Despite widespread protests, Denver International was built and opened in 1995, with fewer runways than the perfectly adequate, Stapleton Int'l Airport, thus reducing Denver's capacity. Its construction began with five mysterious buildings that were completed and then buried intact, with the cover story that they were "built wrong". Up to 8 levels of underground facilities are said to exist, and workers who go there refuse to answer questions about what they do. The entire airport is surrounded by a barbed wire guard fence, with the barbed wire angled inward, to keep people in, like a giant prison, not out like at other airports. And if viewed from the air, the runways are revealed to be laid out in the shape of a Nazi swastika.
Questions about what the government might be doing in this underground base may have been answered in 2007, when fourteen commercial aircraft reported spontaneously shattered windshields as the presumed result of electromagnetic pulses.
