CORRECTION AND APOLOGY TO MODERATE MIKE

In Thursday’s Muth’s Truths (“Moderate Mike’s” War on Women) I made a serious factual error in reporting on Sen. “Moderate Mike” Roberson’s war on women/conservatives and I want to set the record straight and issue a sincere apology.

As Jerry Orbach said to Patrick Swayze in Dirty Dancing, “When I'm wrong, I say I'm wrong.”

And I was wrong.

Although I always strive to be accurate, I have to admit I sometimes miss the mark. So after hearing that Moderate Mike, who apparently doesn’t take criticism very well, was hot under the collar over my blog post…insisting it wasn’t true…I did a little checking.

As you may recall, I wrote that Moderate Mike “sold his soul for 30 pieces of silver back in March when he hitched his wagon to Gov. Brian Sandoval’s proposal to once again raise taxes on Nevada’s families, car owners and businesses this year to the tune of $600 million.”

It turns out that’s not true…and, boy, do I have egg on my face!

I’ve said some controversial things from time to time, but none which prompted such a backlash as when I stated that the horrific shooting in CT of school children and teachers couldn’t be blamed on God because we’ve systematically marginalized God out of our culture by removing Him from all aspects of the public square.

The vicious attacks that have resulted, most of all of which are based on total ignorance of what I actually said have actually validated my point, but I’m quite certain that was not the intent of both the professional and amateur critics who have demanded everything from my being banned from ever speaking in public again, or wished me a slow and painful death.

On that alone, I wish to acknowledge that the left has again shown that it defines tolerance and diversity as being tolerant only of that with which it agrees, and diverse only to include slight shades of the orthodoxy of liberalism to which they adhere. They abhor censorship of their own profanity, obscenities, or graphic violence, but are the first to demand that a voice that invokes the name of God to be silenced.

What happened in Sandy Hook was a horror upon horror, but there are many horrors in the world–so many that there is no way we can keep track of all of them. So many that if we knew even a handful more than we know already, we would be overwhelmed. But how is it that we know of the ones we do know about? I think this question is important.

ATTORNEY ORLY TAITZ DETAILS COURT HEARING INRE OBAMA ELIGIBILITY

Judge England case: Emergency relief of the Temporary restraining order was not granted but the case goes on. Some of the statements by the judge are shocking, he de facto says that if one can steal a property with forged IDs and was not caught because nobody wanted to hear the case on the merits, then he can keep the stolen property scotts free forever!!!
