MAKING THE TOUGH DECISION NOT TO MAKE THE TOUGH DECISIONS
 
It’s been a week now since Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval took to the national stage in Tampa, Florida and actually said that “like Republican governors all across this nation, I chose to make the tough decisions.”

I’m STILL shaking my head in disbelief that our governor could make such a statement with a straight face in light of his highly-publicized tax hike on Nevada citizens and small businesses in 2011 despite his repeated promises on the campaign trail and during some 95 percent of the legislative session.

I know the governor wishes Nevadans would just forget about what can only be considered a major league betrayal of voters and taxpayers.

And unfortunately, many of our fellow Nevadans have done just that - including many Republicans who suffer from “My Guy, Right or Wrong Syndrome” and others who apparently have been hypnotized by the governor’s low-key charm, good looks and Hispanic heritage.

His praise for the soldiers — and for his own national-security policies — won cheers from only a small proportion of the soldiers and families in the  cavernous aircraft-hanger. The audience remains quiet even when the commander-in-chief thanked the  soldiers’ families, and cited the 198 deaths of their comrades in Iraq and  Afghanistan. The audience’s reaction was so flat that the president tried twice to elicit  a reaction from the crowd.   “Hey, I hear you,” he said amid silence. The selected soldiers who were arrayed behind the president sat quietly  throughout the speech. CNN and MSNBC ended their coverage of the speech before it was half-over. Finally, the Washington Post speaks out about Obama. This is timely and tough. As many of you know, the Washington Post has a reputation for being extremely liberal. The fact that its editor saw fit to print the following article about Obama, makes this a truly amazing event, and a news story in and of itself. At last, the truth about our President and his agenda are starting to trickle through the “protective wall” built around him by the liberal media.

Bill Clinton did this in 2006 when Fox News Sunday’s Chris Wallace interviewed Clinton.  It didn’t take long for the gloves to come off and the blame games began.

Chris Wallace caught the ex-president off guard, putting him on the spot, deservedly, and Clinton said everything and anything to make himself the hero of anti-terror policy.

His failures were all Bush's fault!

This is the scariest election we as Christians have ever faced, and from the looks of the polls, the Christians aren't voting Christian values.
 

We all need to be on our knees.

Do you believe we can take God at His word? Call upon His name, then stand back and watch His wonders unfold.

This scripture gives us, as Christians, ownership of this land and the ability to call upon God to heal it.

I challenge you to do that. We have never been more desperate than now for God to heal our land.
