Judicial Watch on Saturday released newly obtained information from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) contradicting DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano’s claims that removing criminal aliens was a “top priority”. Why? Because it contains a laundry list of violent crimes Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials were told to simply overlook when it came time to decide where or not to deport any illegal immigrant.

The series of internal ICE memos reveal officials were told they could dismiss deportation cases against illegal immigrants convicted of sexual assault, solicitation of murder, aggravated assault, assaulting a police officer, kidnapping and many drug charges.

The memos disclosed due to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit also reveal the Obama administration has been actively working behind the scenes to implement amnesty a la ‘prosecutorial discretion’ nearly an entire year before ICE director John Morton publicly announced Obama’s policy toward deportations.

ARLINGTON, Va. — His disguise consists of a blue surgeon's mask, sunglasses and a baseball cap that reads "Free Iran." A small modulator distorts his voice. He uses a pseudonym, Reza Kahlili.

He lives in fear, he says, because his years as a paid spy for the CIA inside Iran have made him an assassination target of Iran's government. He worries about his wife and children, who live with him in California.

At the same time, implausibly, he has become one of the most influential and outspoken voices in the U.S. advocating the overthrow of the Iranian government.

Heller Joins Bipartisan Effort to Help End Breast Cancer

(Washington, D.C.) –U.S. Senator Dean Heller released the following statement regarding introduction of the Accelerating the End of Breast Cancer Act (S. 3237). Heller is an original cosponsor of the bipartisan bill, which establishes a Commission tasked with ending breast cancer by January 1, 2020.

“As someone whose family has been touched by breast cancer, I understand the consequences of this horrible disease. The Accelerating the End of Breast Cancer Act sets a path forward in ending breast cancer once and for all. I am pleased that Members of Congress have come together on this issue. It is my hope that breast cancer can be defeated with further research, and this bill is a step in the right direction,” said Senator Dean Heller.

The Accelerating the End of Breast Cancer Act directs the Commission to:

Identify opportunities and ideas within the government and the private sector that are key components in achieving the end of breast cancer and have been overlooked.
Recommend projects to leverage opportunities and ideas in the areas of the primary prevention and the causes and prevention of breast cancer metastasis.
Ensure that its activities are coordinated with, and do not duplicate the efforts of, programs and laboratories of other government agencies.
