Today, June 28, 2012, the Supreme Court declared the “mandate” under Obamacare to be constitutional as a TAX!

In fact, our Constitution states, in Article I, section 8, clause 1:

“The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes...”

Obama always had the ability to fund Obamacare through taxation. The political problem for him now rests with the fact that Obama must admit to Americans that he and his henchmen like Pelosi and Reid, lied to the American people from the very onset of the Obamacare debate! They all represented that the funding of Obamacare was NOT a tax!  They never could have sold it based upon increasing taxes on every American, especially born by the Middle Class.

The main thrust of the ruling today is that the Federal government may not enforce legislation such as Obamacare based upon the Constitutional doctrine of the Commerce Clause. In short, government can not force Americans into “commerce” so they can be regulated. That is the silver lining in today’s ruling.  This is historic and defines the limits of the Federal government from now on.

The second historic part of today’s ruling is that the Supreme Court went on to again limit the power of the Federal government with respect to forcing States to act, threatening to withhold Federal funds if they do not act according to the government’s wishes. This is another historic aspect of today’s ruling again upholding State’s Rights.

Even though there's disagreement on the issue, the majority ruling is essentially saying it is up to the branches to work out the differences. "When a court confronts an unconstitutional statue its endeavor must be to conserve, not destroy the legislation," Roberts wrote. (Well, if there is any silver lining, since a solid majority of the public has loathed Obamacare since day one, this may energize Romney voters as nothing else could. Reports on Twitter that Romney raised $1M in first three hours after the decision. The Supreme Court has had its say. Your say is coming. Congratulations to those Liberals that have elected a President and a Congress that was allowed to further the biggest lie know to man! Actually there are two lies of monumental proportions that will have a negative effect on the United State of America for years to come.

First: Liberals elected a ineligible President to the White House. I won't get into that lie in detail as it has been made known for several years without any doubts of the truths made known.

The Second lie: Liberals, while in the majority in both Houses, Senate and Representatives, passed a Health Care Law, with the assistance of their President, that created the most horrendous tax hike any could imagine.

With these two points being made it appears as if our (illustrious) President and a Democrat led Congress can lie with impunity. They can refer to a 'tax hike' as merely a 'fee' and walk away unscathed as they laugh up their sleeves.

We, the citizens of the U.S.A. have but one recourse. We must, and I stress 'must,' vote out all members of Congress that perpetrated these immense frauds on us!

Turkey threatens Syria with military retaliation over downed jet

June 26, 2012 - Turkey's prime minister, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, warned Syria that the shooting down of a reconnaissance plane on Friday was a hostile act that would not go unanswered. Syrians also shot at a Turkish search-and-rescue plane looking for survivors from the downed jet.

He said the rules of engagement for Turkish forces along the Syrian border had been changed so they would respond more forcefully to threats coming from Syria.
