You may remember the slogan "It's the economy, stupid" used by Bill Clinton during the 1992 presidential campaign to make the point that George H. W. Bush had not adequately addressed the economy.
Clinton's political strategist, James Carville, posted the phrase inside campaign headquarters as a way to keep the team focused and on message. The phrase later became the de facto slogan for the Clinton election campaign.
The slogan could make a comeback in 2012 as Republicans highlight Barack Obama's dismal economic record, but if you consider yourself a freedom-loving American, then I have a different slogan for you.

The Obama administration is set to jack up military health insurance premiums by 345% and slash $12.9 billion worth of active duty and retiree Tricare coverage. Yet the very same day, plans were revealed to build a state of the art $750,000 soccer field for the terrorists being held at Guantanamo Bay.Obama's plan is to cut $1.8 billion from Tricare, the military's health insurance and medical system, in the fiscal 2013 budget, and a whopping $12.9 billion by 2017. Border Patrol Chief Michael Fisher in May announced a new strategy for border patrol agents, switching their duties from sitting in trucks along the U.S.-Mexico border to helping traffic move more efficiently on international bridges crossing into or from El Paso, Texas. Disturbingly, the Border Patrol 2012-2016 Strategic Plan calls for redirecting agents’ efforts toward relieving congestion and wait times at the ports of entry rather than deterring and apprehending illegal crossers elsewhere along the border.
This strategy is allegedly part of an overall effort to fight transnational crimes and drugs, support Homeland Security efforts and aid U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
