EVERY STATE SHOULD EMULATE MASSACHUSETTES, ARIZONA, ALABAMA

MASS. LEGISLATION TARGETS ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS AND THEIR EMPLOYERS

A group of Massachusetts lawmakers are pushing legislation that would create stiffer penalties for unlicensed drivers and make it hard for illegal immigrants to find jobs and housing after three traffic deaths involving illegal immigrants since 2009. Even though statistics indicate the problem of unlicensed drivers in Massachusetts is smaller than elsewhere around the country, lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have been pressured to finally attempt making their state less of a sanctuary for illegal immigrants.

The bill, filed last September, would create an escalating (and pricey) series of fines for anyone driving without a license, and allow the police to require the suspect forfeit his or her vehicle after the third offense. Other provisions deny illegal immigrants state-subsidized housing and penalizes employers who knowingly hire illegal immigrants or landlords who knowingly rent to them. The bill would also require the implementation of the federal Secure Communities program allowing law enforcement agencies to share information about illegal immigrants.

However, the bill was not favorably recommended by the Joint Judiciary Committee last month and was given a second extension.

POLITICAL DIGEST 05/26/2012 CONSERVATIVE

Enjoy your long weekend, but please take time to recall the sacrifice for your freedoms that are the reason for the holiday. Do you honor our dead by the way you lead your life?

Memorial Day

The troubled world can offer no award
To you who sleep beneath the chiseled stone.
You died because we handed you the sword,
And we are free because you sleep alone.

The tides of history well may change the cause,
And time may blunt the sharpness of the debt,
For sacrifice, a nation under laws
Is gathered here today, lest we forget.

I composed this poem while marching in the Fitchburg, MA Memorial Day Parade in 1975, then used it in my speech at the upper common. (I’m not sure the crowd believed it was newly composed.)

OBAMA'S 'PLANNED ERROR' WAS NO 'ERROR'

Will the 1991 Biography Discovery Force Obama to Open the Hood?
By Monte Kuligowski

If you have a young boy, you've probably watched Disney's Cars 2 about a thousand times.  For those who don't know, at the movie's end (an obligatory spoiler warning here), Sir Miles Axlerod is exposed as a fraud when he's forced to open his hood by Mater, the hayseed hick.  Hold that thought.

Three possibilities follow the bombshell discovery that Barack Obama was promoted in 1991 through 2007 by his professional agency as an author "born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii."  (1) Obama untruthfully presented himself as Kenya-born.  (2) Obama untruthfully presents himself as Hawaii-born.  (3) Obama had no knowledge that his bio contained the 16-year-old "error" which was corrected in April of 2007, when Obama was gearing up his campaign for the U.S. presidency.

OBAMA HAS SHAKEN HIS FIST AT GOD!

FRANKLIN GRAHAM RESPONSE TO THE PRESIDENT’S SUPPORT
OF SAME-SEX MARRIAGE

CHARLOTTE, NC, May 9, 2012— Franklin Graham, president and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association issued the following statement in response to President Obama’s statement in support of same-sex marriage.

“On Tuesday my state of North Carolina became the 31 st state to approve a constitutional amendment defining marriage as being between a man and a woman. While the move to pass amendments defining marriage is relatively new, the definition of marriage is 8,000 years old and was defined not by man, but by God Himself.

Texas A&M Commencement Address The students gave a standing ovation; the faculty were deathly silent!
a
Neal Boortz is a Texan, a lawyer, a Texas Aggie (Texas A&M) graduate, and now a nationally syndicated talk show host from Atlanta . His commencement address to the graduates of a recent Texas A&M class is far different from what either the students or the faculty expected. Whether you agree or disagree, his views are certainly thought provoking.

"I am honored by the invitation to address you on this august occasion. It's about time. Be warned, however, that I am not here to impress you; you'll have enough smoke blown up your bloomers today. And you can bet your tassels I'm not here to impress the faculty and administration. You may not like much of what I have to say, and that's fine. You will remember it though. Especially after about 10 years out there in the real world. This, it goes without saying, does not apply to those of you who will seek your careers and your fortunes as government employees.
This gowned gaggle behind me is your faculty. You've heard the old saying that those who can - do. Those who can't - teach. That sounds deliciously insensitive. But there is often raw truth in insensitivity, just as you often find feel-good falsehoods and lies in compassion. Say good-bye to your faculty because now you are getting ready to go out there and do. These folks behind me are going to stay right here and teach.

OBAMA PURPOSELY RUINING AMERICA'S IMAGE ABROAD!

Obama administration faces defiance abroad, as foreign policy criticism mounts at home

Published May 27, 2012
FoxNews.com

America's effort to mediate conflict and effect change in some of the world's most troubled regions has been met lately with a startling response, in country after country -- defiance.
Iran stepped out of the latest round of talks on its nuclear program rejecting a key demand of negotiators and pledging to build two new power plants.
In Pakistan, the country just jailed -- potentially for the rest of his life -- the doctor who helped the CIA track Usama bin Laden. To boot, Pakistan also wants $5,000 for every truck that crosses a still-closed supply route into Afghanistan.
And in Syria, the establishment of a peace plan has been followed by weeks of bloodshed, with a massacre of at least 32 children being the latest tragic example.
The turmoil and the defiance are now fueling foreign policy criticism from President Obama's political adversaries.

SILVER STATE CONFIDENTIAL - MAKE YOUR VOTE COUNT!

A SIMPLE WAY TO MAKE NEVADA REPUBLICANS RELEVANT

As members of the Nevada GOP’s various Central Committees continue to bask in their relative irrelevance, party leaders in other states continue to provide leadership by actively screening candidates, evaluating them, and issuing pre-primary endorsements…all in an effort to boost the chances of nominating the best, strongest GOP candidate for November’s general elections.

And isn’t winning elections what the party organization is supposed to be all about?

Wisconsin Republicans endorsed candidates at their convention a couple weeks ago.  And unlike in Nevada, Wisconsin’s governor, Scott Walker, actually attended the confab!

Connecticut Republicans followed suit last weekend.  Here’s a report from POLITICO’s Morning Score:  "Republicans will endorse candidates for U.S. Senate and five congressional seats Friday at their party convention in Hartford. … Also Friday, Republican delegates will endorse a candidate in each of the state's five congressional districts.”
