Obama Administration Conspires To Keep Kagan In ObamaCare Case!

ObamaCare is headed to the Supreme Court in the spring - but Elena Kagan could be recused at any time! Kagan had a direct role in ObamaCare, which makes her biased and unfit to participate in the case. But so far, she's refusing to recuse herself. She was present on the November 14th announcement that granted the hearing for ObamaCare.

It's clear that the Obama administration doesn't want Kagan to recuse herself. Fox News reports, ."..The Judicial Crisis Network, a conservative group, argues in a new "white paper" that the Justice Department is withholding documents under the deliberation exemption to the Freedom of Information Act -- which JCN said signals that she was involved in those deliberations."

To the editor:
The Obama administration played Santa Claus last week to two of its favorite constituencies.
First up, Big Labor. The so-called "ambush organizing" rule handed down by the National Labor Relations Board allows practically no time for companies to respond to an organizing attempt. The majority opinion on this is it will make it easier for unions to organize, as businesses will be caught flat-footed and unable to respond in time for a scheduled union election.
I disagree. I think this new rule will force companies to be continuously vigilant and constantly educating and informing their employees of the consequences of joining a union. It might even force companies to improve their working environments without any union involvement. No response time needed.

Unemployment rate doesn't tell whole story

How far have we fallen during this never-ending economic slump? A drop in the unemployment rate isn't necessarily good news.
Nevada's unemployment rate for November was 13 percent, down from 13.4 percent in October and 14.9 percent a year ago. Nationally, the jobless rate was 8.6 percent in November, down from 9 percent in October and 9.8 percent a year ago.
If the unemployment rate only reflected growth in America's payrolls, perhaps economists would be signaling a full recovery is in sight. In fact, the unemployment rate measures how many people have jobs against how many people are actively looking for work. If you stop searching for a job, the government no longer considers you unemployed.

Wow man, another story of illegal conduct that is unpunished and excused. A personal bankruptcy is supposed to cut borrowers loose from lenders and debt collectors, but Capital One Financial Corp.—one of the nation’s largest credit-card issuers—sometimes doesn’t want to let go. …. It wasn’t the first time the company went after its customers for debts that had been snuffed out in bankruptcy, even though the practice is illegal. A court-appointed auditor concluded earlier this year that Capital One pursued 15,500 “erroneous claims” seeking money previously erased by a bankruptcy-court judge.

Montana Restaurant   This is a great story! The radio station America FM was doing one of its 'Is Anyone Listening?' bits this morning. The first question was, 'Ever have a celebrity come up with the 'Do you know who I am?' routine?' A woman called in and said that a few years ago, while visiting her cattle rancher uncle in Billings, MT, she had occasion to go to dinner at a restaurant that does not take reservations. The wait was about 45 minutes; many ranchers and their wives were waiting.
