Mr. Boehner, Mr. Cantor, Mr. McCarthy, why are you waiting? Why have you NOT brought legislation to REPEAL the ObamaCare Death Panels to the floor of the House of Representatives for an up-or-down vote?

     Oh yes, Death Panels were in ObamaCare from day one. In spite of what the left-wing media told you, Death Panels were always part of the ObamaCare master plan.

     Stanley Kurtz, writing for National Review Online tells us: "Rationing, death panels, socialism, and deception. It’s all there. ... IPAB is the real death panel... a body of unelected bureaucrats with the power to cut off care through arbitrary rules.... IPAB is the key to socialized, single-payer health-care, which is and has always been Obama’s ultimate goal."


     And David Catron with The American Spectator says; the Independent Payment Advisory Board's (IPAB) sole purpose is "to cut funding for some health care services seniors now take for granted. And those cuts will kill people."

NOW WHAT?
Lt. Gov. Brian Krolicki made it clear this week he will not seek this seat in the special election.

CLARIFICATION
Nevada Constitution and/or law give the Governor the job of appointing a replacement for U.S. Senate vacancy, but require a special election to fill a vacancy in U.S. Congress. The Governor must decide when the election takes place, and it must be within a specified time period (180 days, I believe). The Secretary of State is responsible for specifying the rules surrounding the special election. Dean Heller was appointed. Now there is a vacancy. Gov. decided on election date. Secretary of State interpreted the arguably vague law about special elections and announced the rules. That's the framework we have to work within.

Feds Issue Train Alert Based on bin Laden Lair Info

Excerpt: Federal officials sent law enforcement officials a warning that al-Qaida may be targeting trains in the United States, based on information gleaned from documents at Osama bin Laden's compound after the world's top terrorist was killed. The Homeland Security advisory tells law enforcement officials to be vigilant about train security. The missive is general and precautionary in nature because the information dates back more than a year, and no recent intelligence indicates that such a plot is active, officials said. Federal officials say they have not found reference to specific plots, NBC News reported.
