Dollar Resumes Slide As US Jobless Claims Jump, GDP Shows Slowdown

NEW YORK (Dow Jones)-- The dollar didn't need any more bad news, but got it Thursday. The U.S. currency was pushed down further after economic indicators pointed to a dismal employment picture and slowing economic growth.
First-time claims for unemployment benefits jumped by 25,000 to 429,000, indicating employers might have recently slowed their hiring recently. Economists were expecting claims to fall to 395,000.
At the same time, gross domestic product rose at a modest 1.8% pace in the first quarter, matching economists' forecasts. However, the pace of expansion is much weaker than it was at the end of 2010, when the economy was growing at 3.1% pace.

In the Republican primary for state senate last year, then-Assemblyman Joe Hardy (R-Clark County) falsely advertised himself as a conservative in order to get elected.

For example, he said in campaign literature that he "voted against tax increases" and "believes in low taxation" without disclosing that during his short tenure in the Legislature he managed to be the only Assembly Republican to vote for the largest and third largest tax hikes in Nevada history!

As an assemblyman, Hardy also supported a bevy of nanny-state, big government programs and regulations, including one law governing the operation of bicycles and another changing the term "manicurist" to "nail technologist," as well as forcing manicurists - er, nail technologists - to be licensed, taxed and regulated by the government.

IS OBAMA RUNNING FROM THE POWER OF THE GRAND JURY?

Obama is a foreign-born domestic enemy, and it was with that knowledge that Mr. Obama was named again in the commission of treason on the 17th of March of this year, again. Before that, there was a letter sent to the two sitting federal grand juries in Knoxville alerting them to the issue of the challenge to recapture the power of presentment. When those letters were mailed on the 16th and 17th of March, respectively, some five weeks ago, to the two sitting grand juries in Knoxville, copies of those letters were sent to the FBI in Knoxville and to the U.S. attorney in Knoxville, William C. Killian.
