I'm writing to let you know about an important vote that took place in the Senate last night.
Newly-elected Senator Mike Lee (R-Utah) offered an amendment expressing support for a Constitutional Amendment that would force Congress to balance the budget.
Senator Lee forced a vote and put every senator on record.
Judge on Health Appeal The Clock Is Ticking: Florida Judge Orders Expedited Appeal of His Ruling on Health Law
MIAMI (Reuters) – A federal judge in Florida on Thursday refused to order the Obama administration to stop implementing its far-reaching healthcare law, a small victory for President Barack Obama in his high-stakes effort to overhaul the U.S. healthcare system.
But U.S. District Judge Roger Vinson ordered the administration to seek an expedited appellate review within the next week of his January 31 ruling that favored arguments by 26 states that the law's requirement that Americans buy health insurance starting in 2014 or pay a penalty was unconstitutional.

Let’s face it: The Big Government-Big Banking dictatorship that rules most of the Western world can succeed in destroying our jobs, our credit and our currency only because of one overriding factor:

We the People, while willing for the most part to fight for our rights, are a little less anxious to risk our self-esteem going up against the biggest crooks in the nation — in the Fed and government agencies that manipulate the markets — because to do so would require more knowledge about finance and economics than most of us have and they can bully us with weasel words that sound sophisticated and are designed to make us feel like stupid peasants. Thus out of embarrassment, we defer to them and let our shame pave the way to an increasingly imminent serfdom. (See the book “The Road to Serfdom” by Friedrich Hayek).
Try as we might, we don’t always understand the intricacies of finance, a world that got infinitely more complex — and corrupt – in the last 20 years thanks to the shenanigans of bankers and their cohorts in government. Terms like subprime, quantitative easing, bundled securities, securitization, are all designed to cover what we would — if we fully understood the scheme and its intent — instantly recognize as criminal behavior on a par with Bernie Madoff’s scheme, which is erroneously called the biggest swindle ever. In fact, Bernie’s caper is small potatoes next to what the banker-politician cabal has done to the world economy, and they are still running free while Bernie serves as their scapegoat. (No, I am not excusing Bernie here).
I include myself among those who need remedial lessons in finance.

Campus Shock: College ‘Sexuality’ Professor Presents Live-Sex Show for Students

A Northwestern University professor is under fire for reportedly holding an optional live-sex presentation on campus.
On Feb. 21, Psychology Prof. John Michael Bailey invited his “human sexuality” students to observe a non-student naked woman experiment with motorized sex toys on stage. According to the local NBC affiliate, about 120 students attended the demonstration. The questionable show was curated by Chicago “sex tour guide” Ken Melvoin-Berg.
“Talking about [sex] doesn’t always lend itself to this sort of thing,” Melvoin-Berg said. “We’re not just talking about it. We’re actually doing it.”
A Republican congressman has told a left-leaning blog that if there is collective support, he would favor the impeachment of Barack Obama over his decision to stop defending the federal Defense of Marriage Act.
Scott Keyes of ThinkProgress.org asked U.S. Rep. Trent Franks, R-Ariz.: "I know Newt Gingrich has came out (sic) and said if they don't reverse course here, we ought to be talking about possibly impeaching either Attorney General [Eric] Holder or even President Obama to try to get them to reverse course. Do you think that is something you would support?" Keyes asked.
Franks replied: "If it could gain the collective support, absolutely. I called for Eric Holder to repudiate the policy to try terrorists within our civil courts, or resign. So it just seems like that they have an uncanny ability to get it wrong on almost all fronts."

As we’ve reported, controversial UK Muslim clericAnjem Choudary has called on Muslims to “rise to implement the Shari’ah in America,” starting with a planned demonstration in front of the White House on Thursday. It’s unclear how working to usher in Shariah law impacts architecture, but the group also plans to refashion the White House:
These cartoonish plans beg the question: Is this “Shariah4America” movement for real?
“Burqa” is spelled wrong. The site suggests convicted pedophiles be impaled on the tip of the Washington Monument.
Could the “Shariah4America” site merely be a spoof of Choudary’s Islam4UK group, using Thursday’s march to satirically dupe people?
On the other hand, Choudary links to the Shariah4America site from his own website, AnjemChoudary.com, in a post about Thursday’s demonstration.

You have all heard the charges on ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, and of course MSNBC news. The TEA Party is racist! They are against minorities.
Here is what they don't tell you.
Left wing organizations like Think Progress (George Soros) have provided doctored visuals to a willing NAACP and the media in an effort to falsely portray the TEA Party as racist. Following is definitive proof of their evil deeds.
Obvious photoshops are not hard to spot. It's too bad the NAACP did not look too hard before they used these examples to castigate the TEA Party.
The assumption of ThinkProgress and the "Progressives" that sell these lies is that the black community will be so outraged that they will show up at the polls in droves to vote against the TEA Party candidates.
The above exposure was carried NO WHERE in the mainstream media. They are quick to to try and destroy the TEA Party, but give ThinkProgress a pass.
What else does the mainstream media not share?
The video is straight forward truth that the TEA Party is against racist and will not stand to have them in their ranks. The video will never see the light of day in the mainstream media.
