#VAGov: What was McAuliffe doing investing in a get-rich-quick
scheme?
By: David Freddoso
Terry McAuliffe, the Democratic nominee for governor of Virginia, made
money by investing with a Rhode Island estate planner. That on its own
is a bit
weird. But the thing about this particular scheme is that terminally ill
people were apparently being paid a few thousand dollars in exchange
for the
use of their identities.
