Chris Matthews: ´Normally´
Domestic Terrorists ´Tend
to Be on the Far Right´
Newsbusters, by Scott Whitlock Original Article

Just hours after explosions rocked the Boston Marathon on Monday, Chris Matthews speculated, "Normally domestic terrorists, people, tend to be on the far right." He then reconsidered and suggested, "...That’s not a good category, just extremists, let’s call them that."

During live coverage, the Hardball host highlighted a possible explosion at John F. Kennedy´s presidential library and thought this could be a personal attack on the Democratic Party: "...But going after the Kennedy Library, not something at Bunker Hill, not something from the Freedom Trail or anything that kind of historic, but a modern political figure

Philadelphia's medical examiner testified opening the red and blue plastic bags crammed into Gosnell's freezer and found the remains of 47 aborted fetuses ranging in age from 12 weeks - the end of the first trimester - to late second trimester and beyond the 24-week ceiling under Pennsylvania's abortion law.
Story Highlights
·         Chief Medical Examiner Sam Gulino found 47 aborted fetuses in Kermit Gosnell's clinic freezer.
·         The fetuses ranged in age from 12 weeks to late second trimester and beyond the 24-week ceiling under Pa. abortion law.
·         Remains and body parts were stored in cat and dog food containers.

He is known only as "Baby Boy B," a fetus estimated to be 28 weeks old, found frozen in an altered one-gallon plastic water jug in Dr. Kermit Gosnell's West Philadelphia abortion clinic.
His passing went unnoticed and undocumented, but on Monday, prosecution and defense lawyers struggled to get Philadelphia's chief medical examiner to say whether he was stillborn or killed by Gosnell after being born alive during an abortion.
"Based on the totality of the evidence . you cannot testify to anyone that this fetus was born alive?" Gosnell lawyer Jack McMahon asked Medical Examiner Sam Gulino.
"No, I cannot," replied Gulino.

Friends of ALIPAC,

The filing of the Senate versions of amnesty legislation has been pushed back at least one day due to the bombings in Boston. If the perpetrators turn out to be foreign nationals, the legislation could be pushed back further if a lack of immigration enforcement or adequate immigration security proves responsible for this latest attack.

Today we need to use the extra 24 hours we have, and we have a powerful new poll that can destroy amnesty in 2013 if you will respond to this request!

Step 1: Read and make notes on this new Pulse Opinion Research poll that shows 80% of Republicans are less likely to vote for a member of Congress who supports giving legal status to undocumented aliens. The poll also shows that 72% of all Americans favor reducing illegal immigration through enforcement only! Begin citing this poll in your calls in to talk radio shows, your online posts, and your calls and written messages to lawmakers.

Poll: 80% of GOP voters
less likely to vote for a member of Congress who supports giving legal status to undocumented aliens.

County rights: sheriffs join in lawsuit over state gun controls

Exposing the disconnect between Colorado politicians and the law enforcement officers charged with upholding the law, more than half of the sheriffs in the state are planning to file a lawsuit against recent gun control laws passed by Democrats.
The lawsuit was announced by Weld County Sheriff John Cooke on Tuesday. Cooke has previously said he will not enforce the new gun control laws, because he believes they are unconstitutional.
“The legislators ignored the will of the people and passed these unconstitutional gun laws, and they need to be held accountable for their decision,” Cooke told WND.
. . . 37 of the state’s 62 sheriffs have announced their plans to file a lawsuit against the new laws, saying they are unconstitutional and unenforceable.
David Kopel, an attorney with the Independence Institute, which will handle the case, said the brief is still being prepared, but he expects to file it in the next few weeks.
“We are still working out the details, but there is a very solid case here. We are still working on some of the specifics, however we do feel we have a variety of strong legal claims that are worth bringing to court,” he said.

Jordanian Muslim leader "happy to see the horror in America" over Boston terror bombings

"A Mideast counterterrorism official based in Jordan said the blasts 'carry the hallmark of an organized terrorist group, like al-Qaeda.'"
"Jordan extremist praises Boston bombing," from the Associated Press, April 16 (thanks to all who sent this in):
AMMAN, Jordan (AP) — The head of an extremist Jordanian Muslim Salafi group says he’s “happy to see the horror in America” after the explosions in Boston.
“American blood isn’t more precious than Muslim blood,” said Mohammad al-Chalabi, who was convicted in an al-Qaeda-linked plot to attack US and other Western diplomatic missions in Jordan in 2003.
“Let the Americans feel the pain we endured by their armies occupying Iraq and Afghanistan and killing our people there,” he said early Tuesday.

Heller to Oppose Manchin-Toomey Amendment

(Washington, D.C.) – Today, U.S. Senator Dean Heller (R-NV) issued the following statement in opposition to the Manchin-Toomey amendment to S. 649.
“When it comes to national policy choices on issues such as Constitutional liberties, gun violence and public safety, the stakes could not be higher. The enormity of this issue has weighed heavily on me. While I was home this past weekend, my family and I ate at the Carson IHOP where four people lost their lives and several were injured. The survivors of that senseless shooting in the morning hours of September 6, 2011, deserve this debate.
“I believe very strongly that our current background check system needs strengthening and improving, particularly in areas that could keep guns out of the hands of felons and the mentally ill.  At the same time, I cannot support legislation that infringes upon the Constitutional right to keep and bear arms.  Despite the good faith efforts of Senators Manchin and Toomey, the onerous paperwork and expansion of federal power mandated in this legislation are too great of a concern. I believe that this legislation could lead to the creation of a national gun registry and puts additional burdens on law-abiding citizens. For these reasons, I cannot vote for this legislation,” said Senator Dean Heller.

The Wheels Come Off Obamacare

By David Catron on 4.15.13 @ 6:09AM
Bureaucrats bungle implementation while health care costs skyrocket.
As a rule, I avoid the weekly news magazines. They are filled with bad fiction disguised as “reporting,” and if I really feel the need to read mediocre prose I can always rely on the work of America’s growing horde of creative-writing professors. Nonetheless, I recently stumbled across a post in Time’s Swampland blog titled, “Obamacare Incompetence,” and succumbed to morbid curiosity. It seems that Joe Klein, a usually reliable Democrat hack, is deeply unhappy with the slow and clumsy implementation of the “Affordable Care Act.”
Klein’s post focuses primarily on the implosion of Obamacare’s exchanges. Pointing out that the President’s apparatchiks squandered three full years during which they should have been hard at work preparing for the advent of these insurance “marketplaces,” Klein laments their failure to do so with the following piece of Solomonic wisdom: “This is a really bad sign.” Indeed it is. And Klein isn’t the only advocate of Obamacare to finally notice that this hopelessly Byzantine health care “reform” law is an implementation nightmare.
Even the Secretary of Health & Human Services (HHS) has admitted as much. But, whereas Klein correctly assigns responsibility to the President, Commissar Sebelius places the blame on evil Republicans: “It is very difficult when people live in a state where there is a daily declaration, ‘We will not participate in the law.’” Other Democrats have been more candid. Senator Jay Rockefeller, who played an important role in getting the law passed, called Obamacare “so complicated that if it isn’t done right the first time, it will just simply get worse.”
And it most emphatically isn’t getting done right the first time. Not only has the go-live date for the insurance exchanges been pushed back a year, a wide variety of the law’s other key provisions have either been delayed or simply abandoned. The most conspicuous of the latter category was the Community Living Assistance Services and Supports (CLASS) Act. This program was so badly designed that Kathleen Sebelius admitted HHS couldn’t pay for it and one of its own administrators speculated that it might collapse. It was repealed in January.
Another moribund provision of Obamacare is the “Basic Health Plan,” included in the law to give states the flexibility to provide coverage for low-income residents unable to afford employer coverage or qualify for Medicaid. Democrat Senator Maria Cantwell is so frustrated with administration foot dragging on this provision that she has announced her opposition to Obama’s nominee to head the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Marilyn Tavenner: “Ms. Tavenner definitely will not have my support.”
Senator Cantwell was also among the thirty-three Democrats who voted with all of the Senate Republicans last month to repeal Obamacare’s job-killing 2.3 percent excise tax on manufacturers and importers of medical devices. This vote was toothless as a practical matter because, as Daniel Horowitz explains, “They know that this is only an amendment to a massive budget bill that will never have the force of law.… If 33 Democrats really supported repeal, they could force Harry Reid to bring it to the floor as a standalone bill.”
Still, the vote was not meaningless. These Democrat Senators know that Obamacare is still profoundly unpopular with the public. Indeed, yet another poll was released in early April showing that only 41 percent of American voters approve of the law and that a mere 15 percent expect it to help them personally. Despite thevirtual blackout by the major broadcast media of bad news concerning Obamacare, including the medical device vote, the implementation delays and even the survey just cited, the public understands that the law is already failing.
Even the much-touted Obamacare provision that we were told would eliminate the “pre-existing condition” scourge is proving to be a bust. According the Heritage Foundation, the Obama Administration estimated that 375,000 people would enroll in the pre-existing conditions insurance plan (PCIP). “But as of January 2013, over two-and-a-half years since the plan began, only 107,139 were enrolled—less than 29 percent of original projections.” And yet the program is running out of money, forcing the HHS bureaucrats to suspend enrollment.
It hardly needs saying that this failure, like everything else associated with Obamacare, is incredibly expensive: “In a 2012 report, the Administration conceded that claims’ costs had been 2.5 times greater than they had anticipated.” This is of a piece with the “Affordable Care Act” in general. When Obamacare was first shoved down our throats, we were told that it would cost $898 billion. Now the projected cost is $1.6 trillion. Meanwhile, many of its taxes are now in effect and it is forcing health insurance premiums through the roof.
What we are left with, then, is a big-government vampire that will drain our personal and public coffers without delivering on its most important promises. Where will all this end? To quote Joe Klein again, “One thing is clear: Obamacare will fail if [President Obama] doesn’t start paying more attention to the details of implementation.… And, in a larger sense, the notion of activist government will be in peril.” Here’s hoping that the President continues to focus on his golf game and delegates Obamacare implementation to his creatures.

How do you like Obamacare now?  This is just the beginning.
Obamacare Imploding
1. Okay folks, I know you think the C-Span Channel that broadcasts all those Congressional hearings is boring, but, really, you should have been around to watch the Senate Finance Committee's hearing Wednesday on the Affordable Health Care Insurance Oversight.
2. Folks, you haven't seen so many faces of misery since you watched Les Miserables for three and a half hours...and they were all Democrats. And one of them, Senator Max Baucus, was the primary sponsor of Obamacare in the Senate!
3. Now, try to follow me here because this gets pretty complicated. (It seems that Nancy Pelosi was right; you DO have to pass Obamacare to find out what's in it...and the Democrats are now learning what the Republicans warned them about. It's an unworkable mess that is throwing millions of Americans off the health care rolls!)

Dear Conservatives,

Harry Reid is fuming!

You see, he and the rest of his gun-grabbing pals in Congress have big plans to take away your gun rights.

And because of YOUR pressure, Reid might not have enough votes to continue his assault on the Second Amendment.

The one thing you can count on though is that Harry Reid has more tricks up his sleeves.

So now is not the time to let up

With voting on gun control starting as early as TODAY, we must make sure that every Senator in Washington knows we are serious about protecting the Second Amendment.

That's why it's VITAL you sign your Gun Rights Petition

The importance of this battle cannot be overstated.

So please forward this every pro-Second Amendment American you know to help us stop Harry Reid's gun-grabbing schemes

As much as I’d like to believe this isn’t true…I know it is.  Good for Teri H. and good for those of us who are screaming from the treetops and forming groups.  I’m fortunate to be involved in two groups so I can make a bigger impact with what I send around and what I say to the local politicians, radios shows etc.  Thank goodness we have writers like Teri H. and others who send us the ammunition we need to get peoples’ attention.
wish I could say the same for our politicians.  They are oblivious or else too frightened to take a real stance on any of the issues.  We have Sheriff Joe and Sheriff Babeu here locally.  Sheriff Devers was eliminated back in September because he was too vocal and was taking a very hard line on the border issue.  Of course, there was no follow-up or investigation into his “truck accident” but those who know the real story, know he was taken out.  I’m just glad that Sheriff Joe, Mike Zullo and Sheriff Paul Babeu are standing their ground. They are about the only ones here in Arizona.  I can’t believe for a state that is known for its toughness and wild cowboys, how far left we are really leaning.  Leave it to the good ole boys and their network.  I swear that everyone is either being blackmailed or has already been compromised…..
Thanks Bob and keep up the great work.  Awesome newsletter today.....   Jean
