BERTRAND DAILY REPORT 05/22/2017 INTELLIGENCE BRIEFING

Bertrand Daily Report
The War For Our Mind & Soul Continues

Subject:  Your Morning Intelligence Brief (May 22nd, 2017)

Ed Note: So...what's the number one excuse to destroy neighborhood businesses and burn vehicles June 3rd in 90 plus American cities by the Communist Left?

The media is pushing the Russian narrative of so-called "lies" by the Trump administration and Russian meddling of the election, but the underlying complaint is the simple fact, Hillary Clinton lost the election....behind the scenes, the Obama and Hillary operatives are motivating an army of thugs to push for action in Washington to remove Trump from office.

No matter the fact that Seth Rich, the DNC staffer that leaked the scandalous emails to Wikileaks....and assassinated accordingly, exonerates Russia at every level, the excuse to destroy America is just what Communists do !

The Communist will be coming out in force and all local law enforcement agencies are currently stocking-up on riot gear for the expected confrontation nationwide. Businesses and law abiding citizens should get armed immediately, because the "Summer of Rage" is expected to be worse than the Los Angeles riots when Rodney King was beaten by police, sparking a riot like no other since. --Dave Bertrand (Twitter) #Dave Bertrand (@bertranddave1)

Summer of Protest starts with anti-Trump 'March for Truth' June 3

The march will also be a starting point for more a more aggressive focus on GOP lawmakers by liberals angered over repealing Obamacare and their support for Trump.

June 3rd is host to several national holidays, including "Love Conquers All Day," and "National Itch Day."
The group's poster for the event reads, "Find a March. Save Democracy."

In some cities, Trump properties will be targeted. Indivisible's march announcement included statements from organizers, including the following from Chicago:

"The Trump sdministration began under a cloud of deception, winning an election tainted by foreign influence. In Chicago, we will stand indivisible in the fight for Truth," said Jason Rieger, founder Indivisible Chicago. "We will rally downtown and march to Trump Tower to push back against the endless barrage of lies emanating from the White House."

On Friday Secretary of Defense [General ret.] Mattis, General Dunford and Special Envoy McGurk on the Campaign to Defeat ISIS held a press briefing. A transcript is available. My first thought after reading its was: "These people live in a different world. They have no idea how the real word works on the ground. What real people think, say,  and are likely to do." There was no strategic thought visible. Presented were only some misguided tactical ideas.

Those who claim that Israel is opposed to Donald Trump’s now openly warm relations with Saudi Arabia are missing the actual point. On the surface, many assume that Israel and Saudi Arabia have poor relations. Neither country has diplomatic relations with one another, one is a self-styled Jewish state while the other is a Wahhabi Sunni monarchy. But they both have the same regional goals, they both have the same enemies and both are intellectual anachronisms in a 20th century that has seen the fall of multiple monarchies, the end of traditional European colonialism and the fall of segregated regimes in Africa (Apartheid South Africa and UDI Rhodesia for example).

Last week, the Greek parliament once again approved more austerity to unlock withheld Greek bailout funds in Brussels: a symbolic move, which has little impact without any actual follow through, like for example, actually imposing austerity. And while Greeks have been very good in the former (i.e. promises), they have been severely lacking in the latter (i.e. delivery).

Will humans or computer algorithms be the future arbiters of “truth”? The following infographic from Futurism sums up the ideas that academics, technologists, and other experts are proposing that we implement to stop the spread of fake news.

Last week, Fox 5 DC's report incited a storm of controversy after former D.C. police homicide detective Rod Wheeler stated that there was tangible evidence on murdered Democratic National Committee (DNC) staffer Seth Rich's laptop suggesting that he was communicating with Wikileaks prior to his death. The story generated a large amount of outrage, with outlets like the Washington Post and Vice labelling it a "conspiracy theory" and claiming that it had no basis in fact. But details regarding the political affiliation of spokespeople and representatives of the Rich family appear to indicate that the DNC may be prioritizing its own interests, minimizing alleged political elements to the tragedy.

Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates will donate a combined $100 million to a World Bank fund for women entrepreneurs that was the brainchild of Ivanka Trump. The announcement by World Bank President Jim Young Kim came during a visit to Saudi Arabia by President Trump, who was accompanied by his wife, Melania, daughter Ivanka and son-in-law, Jared Kushner.

President Donald Trump and President Barack Obama delivered addresses to the Muslim world at roughly the same point in their respective presidencies.Breitbart - But unlike Obama, who attempted to appease Islamic resentment of the West by admitting America’s faults, Trump’s speech in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Sunday emphasized terrorism and challenged the Arab and Muslim world to foster peace by “honestly confronting the problem of Islamic extremism, and the Islamists, and Islamic terror of all kinds.” The first difference between the two speeches was the setting. Trump addressed a summit of Arab and Muslim leaders at a conference to deal with terrorism. Obama, by contrast, invited members of the Muslim Brotherhood to his address at Al-Azhar University in Cairo. Trump rallied the nations of the region to deal with a problem in their midst; Obama gave legitimacy to a banned group associated with terror and extremist ideology. Obama began his address by focusing on western guilt: More recently, tension has been fed by colonialism that denied rights and opportunities to many Muslims, and a Cold War in which Muslim-majority countries were too often treated as proxies without regard to their own aspirations. Moreover, the sweeping change brought by modernity and globalization led many Muslims to view the West as hostile to the traditions of Islam. In contrast, Trump began by declaring that “Muslim countries must take the lead in combating radicalization. He said that he was not there to lecture to others about how to worship, but to call for unity “in pursuing the one goal: … to conquer extremism and vanquish the forces that terrorism brings with it every single time,” singling out “young Muslim men and women.” Trump went further, taking on “terrorism and the ideology that drives it.” He listed recent terror attacks in the U.S. and around the world, and noted that “the deadliest toll has been extracted from the innocent people of Arab and Muslim nations.” The optimism of the region, he said, was “held at bay by bloodshed and terror.” And he added: “There can be no co-existence with this violence.” [Read More…]

Trump: First Saudi Meetings Will Bring Americans ‘Jobs, Jobs, Jobs’
Breitbart - President Donald Trump described the first day of his overseas trip in Saudi Arabia as “a tremendous day” — referring to billions in investments — in his first remarks at the top of one of several bilateral meetings. Trump’s first remarks to reporters on Saturday included: That was a tremendous day. I just want to thank everybody. But tremendous investments in to the United States, and our military community is very happy, and we want to thank you and Saudi Arabia. But hundreds of billions of dollars of investments into the United States and jobs, jobs, jobs. During a signing ceremony, the U.S. President signed a joint vision statement, private sector agreements, and defense cooperation agreements with Saudi Arabia. The defense agreements are worth $110 billion effective immediately and worth an additional $350 billion over ten years, according to a White House official. At one point during the day, the President’s Chief Economic Advisor Gary Cohn answered reporters’ questions as to what was being signed. He said that the signing was “to invest a lot of money in the U.S. and have a lot of U.S. companies invest and build things over here.” He continued, “They’re going to hire U.S. companies … a bunch of infrastructure related things … A lot of money. Big dollars. Big dollars.” Cohn told reporters that things were going “really well.”

GREAT AGAIN: Unlike Obama, Trump doesn't bow to Saudi king (Video)
The American Mirror - What a difference an election can make for the respect American leaders have for our country. There were two very different outcomes when two American presidents greeted the king of Saudi Arabia. All eyes were on President Trump today as he arrived in the country for his first foreign trip. Video shows the president stepping off the plane and greeting King Salman: Trump stood up straight as Salman appeared to bow slightly. Trump’s posture stands in stark difference to President Obama’s in the early days of his presidency. Cameras captured Obama bowing to King Abdullah, contorting nearly to a 90-degree angle in what many called a moment of American weakness: Trump’s behavior was refreshingly noticeable…

Wave of 'more dangerous, skilled' ISIS jihadists bound to hit Europe
RT - Scores of foreign Islamic State… fighters, determined to come back to Europe, are “more dangerous” than previous waves of returnees, Jean-Paul Laborde [head of the UN Security Council's counterterrorism agency] told reporters on Thursday. Some may be eager to seek revenge after defeats on the battlefield, including in recent confrontations in Mosul. The first wave of the returnees was mainly made up of young people who went to Syria and Iraq “for T-shirts and photos,” Laborde said…. They came back “disillusioned and dismayed.” The second wave may contain much more extreme individuals, who had more time to build contacts with criminal organizations that can assist them in committing attacks. Between 40 to 50 percent of foreign fighters, who left for Syria and Iraq, have already left territories controlled by IS, Laborde added. “On average, these people are much more committed, more experienced and more skilled,” he told reporters, as cited by Reuters. “In spite of the travel restrictions ... still you will have a number of foreign terrorist fighters which will probably slip through the borders and go back, come back to these countries, especially with smuggling networks,” he added.

North Korea in 'significant' missile breakthrough confirmed by US and the South
Express UK - Pyongyang has launched a ballistic missile which successfully re-entered the Earth's atmosphere, according to analysts. North Korea claimed the liquid- fuel Hwasong-12 travelled a distance of 489 miles before breaching Japan's Air Defence Identification Zone and reached an altitude of 2,111.5 km (1,312 miles) before crashing in to the Sea of Japan. The missile was fired on May 14. After confirmation from defence officials the success of the missile has been labelled a "significant breakthrough" for Kim Jong-Un's hermit state. North Korean state media said the missile was capable of carrying a "large-size, heavy nuclear warhead. South Korean government sources told the JoongAng Daily the warhead survived the 5,000 degrees Celsius (9,032 Fahrenheit) and extreme vibration it experienced on re-entry. The South confirmed it after analysis of data communication from North Korea's missile control centre. The Hwasong-12 according to experts, will take around three years to become an intercontinental missile capable of striking the mainland US. To have the technology applied will be another story - but Pyongyang took a huge step toward that goal.

The worst guy on the planet
Sovereign Man - Jose Rafael Torrealba wins the award for biggest scumbag on the planet today. Torrealba is a Venezuelan army general who was featured in a leaked audio recording that was just published yesterday. The recording is of a meeting that took place a few weeks ago in Venezuela in which he and his fellow generals discuss how to keep the civilian population under control. Torrealba’s solution? Use snipers against his own people. “There will come a time when we will have to employ them [the snipers] and I want us to be ready for the moment that we have to employ them because the president will not remain at a green [preparation] phase, gentlemen.” One general at the meeting who could not be identified voiced opposition to the plan, saying that “if we keep going with the issue of the snipers, all of us here will end up in jail.” Apparently the obvious moral reasons for not using lethal force against your own people didn’t factor into their logic. Torrealba indicated that he didn’t care for public perception. And even after admitting it was unconstitutional, he ordered everyone at the meeting to make preparations to use snipers. That was back in April. Since then dozens of people have died, including a 17-year old kid who was shot in the head earlier this week.

What’s Next For Julian Assange?
Daily Sheeple - WikiLeaks founder, Julian Assange, will not quit releasing pertinent information, even after Sweden announced it’s dropping the rape allegations against him. Assange, the biggest enemy of the state, issued a defiant statement after Sweden dropped the charges. He won’t be kowtowing to the political elites, though; in fact, just the opposite…. “Today is an important victory for me and the UN human rights system, but by no means erases seven years of detention without charge…while my children grew up. That is not something I can forgive or forget,” Assange told journalists from a balcony at the Ecuadorian embassy where he has lived for the last five years. Marianne Ny, Sweden’s director of public prosecutions, earlier said the investigation was dropped because Sweden had “exhausted the possibilities” for investigating the allegations against Assange. –Newsweek

Ebola Spreading: Infections Up 800% In Last Week, Officials Race To Track Down 400 Possible Contacts
Mac Slavo - Last week three suspected Ebola infections were detected in a remote region of the Congo. Since then, World Health Organization officials have been scrambling to contain the virus. Their efforts appear to have failed. The contagion continues to spread, and though it’s nowhere near the 11,000 people who were infected during the outbreak in 2014, the infection rate has spiked over 800% in just the last seven days, with at least nine new cases reported in the last 24 hours: The number of suspected cases of Ebola has risen to 29 from nine in less than a week in an isolated part of Democratic Republic of Congo, where three people have died from the disease since April 22, the World Health Organization said on Thursday…. The 2014 outbreak likewise started in a remote region of Africa, but containment efforts were ineffective and the virus eventually spread to the United States and Europe. According to W.H.O., about 400 people have come into contact with the 29 people infected and officials are attempting to track them down for monitoring.

Italy makes 12 vaccines mandatory for school children in an attempt to combat 'anti-scientific theories'
The Independent - The new measures followed an intense public debate over vaccines after a measles outbreak and political sniping over accusations that the populist 5-Star movement had emboldened anti-vaccine advocates. Paolo Gentiloni, the Italian Premier, told a news conference that the new rules aimed to combat “anti-scientific theories” that have lowered Italy’s vaccination rates in recent years…. The government approved making 12 vaccines, including measles, rubella and chickenpox, mandatory starting this September for children attending Italian pre-schools through the second year of high school. Other required vaccines include tetanus, diphtheria, polio and hepatitis B. The health minister, Beatrice Lorenzin, said children will not be accepted into nursery or pre-schools without proof of vaccinations, while parents of children legally obliged to attend school will face hefty fines for noncompliance. The certification will be required every year, she said.

LA Times        Villaraigosa tells Democrats to focus less on people who drive Teslas and more on Californians who ride the bus
Former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa told California Democrats at their convention Saturday that too many people in the state have been left behind in the economic recovery, saying the party needs to “look in the mirror” and bring a renewed effort to creating jobs and improving public schools. -- Villaraigosa, a 2018 candidate for governor, called on California to lead the resistance against President Trump and the Republican Congress, saying the nation was looking to the state to lead the way to protect immigrants, religious freedoms and civil rights. -- “We're here today to fight for the soul of our party and our most cherished values,” Villaraigosa told party delegates gathered inside the cavernous Sacramento Convention Center. “Standing up to Trump takes more than talk and tweets.
