#Superstorms are creating chaos in the midwest as a levee has now breached in Pocahontas at the Black River prompting evacuations. Many MORE inches of rain is expected and is currently storming now, with tornadoes dropping down over Eastern Louisiana and another 4+ inches of rain fell over parts of already flooded Missouri. As I was monitoring the satellite loop surveying the Midwest something very unusual appeared in the radar images, something I've never seen before on these instruments and quite honestly it simply looks out of place!

I noticed yet once again 1000's of customers in Los Angeles and the LA area were without power today according to the SoCal Edison outage map. Reason given is "Electrical Upgrades". Also, I encountered three different ATM machines that were "Temporally out of Service", would not function in less than 12 hours. These machines are relied upon by many citizens and are typically very reliable, but to have three machines in a small radius that I was in, and in a short period of time that were "out of service" was a little unusual. https://m.sce.com/outage/
