The War For Our Mind & Soul Continues

Subject: Your Morning Intelligence Brief (April 13th, 2017)

April 13th, 2017

Ed Note: I spent two hours this morning dealing with a hack attack malware situation after (yesterday) attempting to "scrape" news from the Russia Today (RT) website. Evidently, the powers-at-be do NOT want us providing news from Moscow. Lately, the Russians continue to call the Sarin Nerve Gas attack in Syria a "False Flag." In the meanwhile, U.S. corporate fakestream media want us to believe that "regime change" in Syria is necessary. In any event, computer problem solved.

Today's featured story is very interesting, but I urge caution as I am sure....the most official and government sponsored SNOPES says it is "FALSE." Sorry...but logic says, Obama has to be worried beyond a doubt. ---Dave Bertrand  #Dave Bertrand (@bertrandave1)

Rick Wiles: Obama Is ‘Hiding From Arrest’ In French Polynesia For Stealing Elections And Surveilling Trump
By Brian Tashman | March 27, 2017 2:37 pm

He went on to claim that Obama’s vacation to French Polynesia is actually an attempt to flee justice and imminent arrest: “This is why Obama is hiding in French Polynesia. He is a fugitive. He is hiding from arrest. I believe he knows he’s going to be arrested.”
Wiles and his cohosts then speculated that Obama may end up living aboard a yacht in international waters in order to avoid extradition to the U.S. over what he called “the biggest scandal in the history of this nation” and possibly “the biggest scandal in the history of the world.”

Tucker Carlson Tackles the Dangerous Case of the Democratic War Party, Itching For a Fight With Russia

Tillerson and Putin Find Little More Than Disagreement in Meeting NY Times - Secretary of State Rex W. Tillerson met with President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia for nearly two hours Wednesday, but the two men appeared unable to agree on the facts involving the deadly chemical weapons assault on Syrian civilians or Russian interference in the American election — much less move toward an improvement in basic relations. “The world’s two foremost nuclear powers cannot have this kind of relationship,” Mr. Tillerson said. Both he and Mr. Lavrov said a range of issues were discussed — most notably the crises in Syria, North Korea and Ukraine — and that both sides had agreed to establish a working group to examine, as Mr. Lavrov said, “the irritants” in relations between the United States and Russia…. Mr. Lavrov reiterated the Russian view that the facts about the chemical weapons attack had yet to be determined, and denounced what he described as the “media hysteria” surrounding the assault.

North Korea Tells Foreign Journalists To Prepare For "Big" Event On Thursday
Zero Hedge - In a potentially concerning geopolitical development, Reuters reports that foreign journalists visiting North Korea have been told to prepare for a "big and important event" on Thursday, although the wire service says there were "no indications it was directly linked to tensions in the region over the isolated state's nuclear weapons program." According to Channel News Asia reported Jeremy Koh, "we've been told to be ready to move out at 620am, but no idea why. Also, no cell phones allowed."

China Puts Troops on Nationwide High Alert Over North Korea
Paul Joseph Watson - Citing the Information Center for Human Rights and Democracy, a nongovernmental organization in Hong Kong, the Oriental Daily News reports that Beijing has ordered troops from all five of its military regions to be on high alert due to the escalating crisis in the region…. Around 25,000 troops of the Chinese military’s 47th group army of the Ninth Armored Brigade have also been told to prepare to travel long distances close to the North Korean border, while other troop divisions may also have been mobilized. The new maneuvers follow earlier reports that China deployed 150,000 troops along the North Korean border on Sunday. [Last Tuesday], an editorial in the Global Times, which is widely seen as a mouthpiece for the ruling Chinese Communist government, let slip that Beijing was prepared to carry out its own strike on North Korea’s nuclear facilities if the Stalinist state crossed a “bottom line”. The editorial was subsequently deleted, almost certainly on the orders of government officials.

Russia Vetoes UN Security Council Resolution Condemning Syrian Government
Sputnik News - A draft resolution condemning the Syrian government for the alleged chemical attack in the country that was introduced by the UK, France and the US was blocked by Russia on Wednesday. "The result of the vote is as follows: ten votes in favor, two votes against, three abstentions. The draft resolution has not been adopted owing to the negative vote of a permanent member of Council," current Security Council President Nikki Haley of the US announced following the vote. The resolution asked the Syrian government to provide flight plans and logs of its military operations on the day of the incident and for the country to open its air bases to UN investigators…. China, Ethiopia and Kazakhstan abstained from the vote. Bolivia voted with Russia to veto the resolution.

Fox News       Grijalva Blasts Sessions' 'Injustice Dept' for Illegal Immigration Crackdown
An Arizona Democrat blasted the "injustice department" under Attorney General Jeff Sessions, warning that the new immigration enforcement crackdown will divert law enforcement resources. -- U.S. Rep. Raul M. Grijalva represents Nogales, where Sessions spoke Tuesday and promised "a new era" and an end to the Obama administration's "catch and release" policies. -- Grijalva said the remarks show "another day at the (in)justice department" under Sessions and warned that President Trump's immigration crackdown will "erode our moral character as a nation."......       Trump is the toast of San Antonio's 2017 Border Security Expo
The smell of money is in the air at the 2017 Border Security Expo, the annual gathering of private firms, contractors and government officials who make their living beefing up the nation's borders. -- With President Donald Trump pushing for billions of new dollars in Department of Homeland Security funding, there is opportunity to be found along the U.S.-Mexico border in a way that didn't exist during the last eight years under the Obama administration.......
KABC  AM       Orange County Sheriff: Sanctuary State Threatens Public Safety
The Orange County Sheriff's Department stands to lose 26 million dollars if California becomes a sanctuary state. That's what the federal government gives us for housing ICE detainees in the County. But, as a sanctuary state, California would no longer cooperate with federal immigration authorities. O.C. Sheriff Sandra Hutchens says it's not just about the loss of the money. -- “But releasing dangerous criminals back into the community where ICE now has to go out and find them as opposed to me being able to communicate with ICE and transition those individuals who need to go through deportation proceedings.”......
NewsMax          Drug Tunnels Jumped Despite Increased Border Security in 2012
President Donald Trump's plan to build a wall on the U.S.-Mexico could backfire, as a newly unearthed report shows that the number of illegal drug smuggling tunnels jumped considerably after a border fence was build and security added. -- "Illegal tunneling activity on the southwest border of the United States represents a significant and persistent threat to border security and will likely remain so in the near future," reads a 2010 report from the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Homeland Security Investigations office, which was made public earlier this month.......
Rick Oltman --         Attorney General Sessions at the Border
Since the November election, a deterrent message has been sent to the entire world about illegally entering our country. The result is that illegal entries are at the lowest they have been since the Clinton Administration, 17 years ago. -- And, in an event that the immigration reform movement (“reform” meaning to enforce our immigration laws) has been waiting for over 25 years, the highest law enforcement officer in the land, U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions, has visited the Mexican border and said that the message to the world is, “Do not come.” Sessions understands that the current message being sent will have, and has had, a discouraging effect. There has been a 70% decline in illegal entries since Obama left office. -- He also told Sean Hannity that, “Going after Sanctuary Cities (is) first and foremost.”......
Press Release          Lawsuit Targets Trump's Border Wall, Enforcement Program
Tucson -- The Center for Biological Diversity and Congressman Raúl M. Grijalva, who serves as ranking member of the House Committee on Natural Resources, today sued the Trump administration over the proposed border wall and other border security measures, calling on federal agencies to conduct an in-depth investigation of the proposal's environmental impacts. -- Today's suit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona, is the first targeting the Trump administration's plan to vastly expand and militarize the U.S.-Mexico border, including construction of a “great wall.” -- “Trump's border wall will divide and destroy the incredible communities and wild landscapes along the border,” said Kierán Suckling, the Center's executive director. ......
LA Times         Trump should claim victory on the border and abandon his "foolish wall"
It was his sure-fire applause line, one he pulled out of his rhetorical grab bag whenever he saw he was losing the enthusiasm of a crowd: “I will build a big, beautiful wall and Mexico will pay for it!” If we are lucky, though, now that he is president, Donald Trump will renege on this, his biggest campaign promise. -- He could simply declare victory and say a wall along the border with Mexico is no longer necessary because illegal crossings have diminished to a trickle. Unlike many of Trump's statements, that would have the added virtue of actually being more or less true. The number of people apprehended by the Border Patrol has dropped by 64% from this time last year, the lowest level in at least 17 years, according to an L.A. Times report.......       Lawmakers: No sanctuary campuses in Indiana
For any Indiana college considering the sanctuary campus movement to protect undocumented students from deportation, state politicians are carving their stance into law: You can't do that. -- The Indiana Senate Tuesday voted to send legislation to Gov. Eric Holcomb that would mandate public and private colleges to comply with the enforcement of federal immigration laws. The vote was 38-10.......
LA Daily News        LA County leaders skip vote on funding legal defense fund for illegals
A proposal to transfer $1 million of Los Angeles County money into a legal defense fund to help illegal immigrants and others threatened with deportation was pulled from a vote Tuesday so members of the Board of Supervisors could examine concerns raised within the motion. -- The legal defense fund was proposed in December by members of the Los Angeles City Council and the Board of Supervisors in response to President Donald Trump's pre-election remarks about deporting people who live in the country illegally. Los Angeles city and county leaders unveiled plans to contribute $5 million to the proposed $10 million fund, with local nonprofit organizations providing the rest.......
