OBAMA HIDING BEHIND EPA AS JOBS ARE DESTROYED

This morning: Tune in as we rally for steel jobs
For the past few weeks, the Alliance for American Manufacturing (AAM) has been traveling across the country to join steelworkers as they raise the alarm about a threat facing steel jobs in the U.S. This morning, we're broadcasting live from Lone Star, Texas, with workers, local officials, and some awesome rally chants ... and we want you to join us.
Why tune in? Because a lot is a stake. The steelworkers in Lone Star and elsewhere make the pipe and tube that are used by the oil and natural gas industries -- they're essentially building America's 21st century energy infrastructure -- but they’re facing dumped foreign steel that is flooding the market.
So here’s the question: Will the United States replace its dependence on foreign oil with a dependence on dumped steel pipe? Or will American workers have a fair chance to compete in a growing market?

We know the right answer. But we need your help to make sure Washington gets it right. Here are five steps you can take to help build a healthier manufacturing economy:
  1. Get the facts. Visit our website that outlines that details of this trade dispute, and the threat American workers are facing.
  2. Join the conversation online. We’re talking about this issue using #SOSJobs.
  3. Come out and join us. Watch the livestream of today's rally, and check our OCTG website to find an upcoming event near you.
  4. Take action. Send your elected officials a letter calling on them to stand up for enforcing our trade laws.
  5. Spread the word. Share this website with your friends and family and tell them to take action too!
Five steps. That’s all it will take. So if you agree with me that these American workers deserve a fair shake in the face of dumped steel, tell your legislators that our on-the-books trade laws should be fully enforced. And together, we can keep it made in America.
Sincerely,
Scott Paul
President
Alliance for American Manufacturing (AAM)
