Truly, there are no shortage of words to describe the entirety of the Mississippi senate runoff election.
But the first positive word that comes to mind is “contrast”, which in this writer’s opinion, is what every political contest really ought to be about — a contrast of vision and ideas.
Chris McDaniel is a constitutional conservative, who wants to tackle our nation’s $19 trillion debt, ‘drive a wooden stake through the heart’ of Obamacare, and give back our country to the people.
Chris McDaniel will stand-up on his own two feet, and like Ted Cruz and Mike Lee, often in defiance of the Washington Establishment.

In contrast, had Cochran is a 42-year Washington career politician, who
is a prolific proliferator of ‘earmarks’, cash handouts, higher taxes,
and the ultimate champion to a bloated federal government.
Thad Cohran will vote exactly as he is told by the establishment because he IS of the establishment.

The greatest contrast between these two men, however, will be seen only AFTER the election and then for many years to come.
It is the contrast of outcomes.

This election is about the who we are as a country, and where we are going.
Conservatives and tea partiers
correctly see America as off-track and on a collision course with
disaster. They want to change course, and immediately.
The Washington Establishment admits there is a problem. But in their view government is the solution and not the problem.
This is largely because so much of their personal power, pleasure and riches are derived from government — and they believe in Big Government.
So at best, Thad Cochran and his cronies are only willing to slow the ever-increasing speed toward the collision.

All of this, of course, hardly scratches the surface of the grave troubles facing our country.
Chris McDaniel will fight in Washington to change course from the disastrous policies of Obama and the Establishment.
We need Chris to join Ted Cruz and Mike Lee to build a bold Conservative Senate Majority.
