CHUCK MUTH/CITIZEN OUTREACH 12/23/2013

[ICYMI] Big News about 2014 First Friday Happy Hours

Forget the ol’ good news/bad news routine.  This time I have good news/better news/fantastic news/absolutely fantastic news about our First Friday Happy Hour events next year!

First, the good news…

Beginning in January, we’ll have a new co-sponsor for the event: The Nevada Republican Party.  Here’s why this is such good news…

As you know, Citizen Outreach has been pretty successful in bringing in some pretty darned good speakers for the event over the last four years…

  • From Sheriff Joe Arpaio to Sen. Rand Paul…to “Cliff Clavin” from Cheers just this month
  • From Gov. George Pataki to GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain
  • From Rep. John Shadegg to Rep. J.D. Hayworth to Rep. Tom Tancredo
  • From taxpayer champion Grover Norquist to the Hollywood producers of “Atlas Shrugged”
  • From national conservative talk-show host Roger Hedgecock to national conservative talk-show host Rusty Humprhies
  • From the “Don’t Touch My Junk” guy to the police officer who took down the Ft. Hood shooter
  • From UNLV coach David Rice to budding NASCAR phenom Dylan Kwasniewski
  • From Cmdr. Kirk Lippold of the USS Cole to Iraq war veteran/author Lt. Ilario Pantano
  • From Govs. Kenny Guinn and Jim  Gibbons to Mayor Oscar Goodman to Sen. Dean Heller to Rep. Joe Heck

You just never know who you’re going to run into at First Friday!  Indeed, we’ve even featured liberals such as blogger Jon Ralston (before he went completely meshugganah) and Gary Peck, the former executive director of the Nevada ACLU.

That said…

As the official GOP party organization in Nevada, the Nevada Republican Party has access to an even BIGGER pool of A-list elected officials, party leaders, candidates and celebrities.

Not to mention all the 2016 presidential candidates who will be looking for opportunities to lay some groundwork in our “swing” state over the next couple of years.

The only downside is that to afford to bring in even bigger-name speakers, we’re going to have to bump the event donation at the door from $5 to $10, however…

(A) It’ll still be worth every penny, and…

(B) At the end of this letter I’m going to tell you how you can not only avoid the price increase, but pay even LESS than you’re paying right now!

Now the better news…

We’re returning to Stoney’s!

Believe me, I never wanted to leave there in the first place.  It was perfect…but there was a problem two years ago with a new manager who’s no longer there.  Now everything’s right with the universe again.

The best part about Stoney’s – other than its great new central location (in Town Square on the south end of the Strip), plenty of free parking, happy hour drink prices, its terrific wait staff & bartenders, and the laid-back, down-to-earth atmosphere – is that the place doesn’t open to the general public until 7:00 pm on Friday nights.

That means from 5:00 – 7:00 pm we have the entire place to ourselves for First Friday!  No more sharing a room with others not part of our conservative political family.

And now for the fantastic news…

As I mentioned earlier, we’re gonna have to bump the cost of the event up to $10 per person.  That’s $20 a month for a husband/wife, couples or partners.  Which comes to $240 a year.

Which is still worth every dime for the opportunity to meet and hear from some great speakers every month, as well as mix-and-mingle with fellow conservative kindred spirits.  However…

Starting in 2014, we’re going to be offering an exclusive new annual First Friday VIP Membership for folks willing to pre-pay for a year in advance.  Here are some of the benefits members are entitled to…

  • An official, laminated First Friday VIP membership card which IS transferable – meaning if you can’t make it some months, you can let a friend or colleague borrow the card!
  • Special VIP entrance line so you can get in first, grab a primo seat and beat the crowd to the bar!  (This is especially valuable when it’s over 100 degrees outside in the summer)
  • Photo-ops with VIP speakers (subject to time constraints and the speaker’s willingness)
  • Invitations to exclusive, private after-First Friday dinners and receptions with VIP speakers
  • Advance invitations to other non-First Friday events with VIP speakers throughout the year (also see the P.S. about planned candidate debates in 2014!)
  • Free annual subscription to my new “I Love Conservatives” print newsletter and tele-conferences ($49 value)
  • Free annual subscription (or one year extension for current subscribers) to my almost daily Silver State Confidential e-newsletter in which you’ll learn what’s REALLY going on in the conservative movement and politics in Nevada ($120 value)
  • Invitations to attend my private monthly Third Thursday center-right coalition lunches
  • And more benefits that I haven’t even thought up yet!

Now here comes the absolutely fantastic part…

If you come to all of next year’s First Friday Happy Hours month-by-month, you’ll pay $10 per person at the door…which comes to $120 per person or $240 per couple, without any of the benefits listed above.

However...

The regular membership fee for a First Friday VIP Membership is just $99.  A steal in and of itself.  But that’s not what you’ll pay.

But first let me sweeten the pot just a little bit more with this money-saving…

SUPER BONUS!

Included with your investment in an annual First Friday VIP Membership, not only will you be able to come to all of next year’s First Friday events by just going through the VIP line and showing your card at the door…

But you can bring one guest in with you for FREE!

And…

If you act before the end of the year, you won’t even pay the regular membership fee of $99.  Instead, you’ll pay just…

$75

That means you and your guest will get into each 2014 First Friday Happy Hour - including all the great membership benefits - for just over $3 per month - not even the cost of a Starbuck’s Mocha Frappucino or a double-scoop Baskin & Robbins (our family boycotts liberal Ben & Jerry’s) cookie dough cone.

You can’t beat that with a stick!!

And since I know it’s Christmas season and disposable income might be a little tight right now, you can opt to pay for your membership in three monthly payments of just $25 each if that would be helpful.

However, to purchase your First Friday VIP Membership at the discounted $75 charter rate, you need to join by the stroke of midnight, December 31, 2013.

After that the membership fee will bump up the investment to $99.  Still a great deal…but why pay the extra $24 if you don’t have to?

2014 is shaping up to be the biggest and best election cycle for conservative candidates that we’ve seen in Nevada for a long, long time…and next year’s First Friday Happy Hours will also be bigger and better.

So don’t delay…get your First Friday VIP Membership today!

P.S.  In addition to our regular First Friday Happy Hour events in 2014, we plan to host several GOP primary debates for offices up and down the ballot this spring – just like the one we did a couple years ago for the Las Vegas mayor race.  And when we do…

First Friday VIP Members will receive advance notice and invitations to these events, early entry and priority seating.  As the saying goes, “membership has its privileges”!!!  Join today!

P.P.S.  A First Friday VIP Membership would also make an awesome Christmas present for your favorite conservative!
