Finally,
there are widespread signs that even ObamaCare’s architects and chief
supporters are waking up to the fact that the President’s healthcare law
is a total disaster.
And
don’t be deceived: The main reason the Obama administration wants to
“delay” key parts of ObamaCare – even given the obvious political
advantage they want for the 2014 election – is that they are unable to
meet key deadlines.
If I
were a medical expert performing triage on ObamaCare, I would declare
it comatose and unlikely to recover. Please see my important update

Conservatives,
The
news for ObamaCare isn’t good – which is great news for those who love
their country and find tyranny and forced participation in this
murder-for-hire “healthcare” scheme morally repugnant.
As you probably know, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond cleared the way for Liberty Counsel’s lawsuit, Liberty University v. Geithner, against the Affordable Case Act (ObamaCare) to proceed to the United States Supreme Court.
But last weekend, there was additional game changing news…
++Union bosses turn against ObamaCare!
Saying
ObamaCare will “destroy the very health and wellbeing” of American
workers, recognized union leaders have taken Democrat leaders to task.
As
you will remember, unions were major players in paving the way for the
passage of ObamaCare. Now those same union bosses who were once
stalwarts of the so-called “Affordable Care Act” have awakened to the
devastating ObamaCare realities.
So
much so, they told Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi about their extreme
displeasure while demanding a dramatic change of direction.
As reported by the New York Times, an open letter written by three the of the nation’s leading union bosses states…
“Right
now, unless you and the Obama administration enact an equitable fix,
the ACA will shatter not only our hard-earned health benefits, but
destroy the foundation of the 40 hour work week that is the backbone of
the American middle class.
Like
millions of other Americans, our members are front-line workers in the
American economy. We have been strong supporters of the notion that all
Americans should have access to quality, affordable health care.
Now this vision has come back to haunt us…
On
behalf of the millions of working men and women we represent and the
families they support, we can no longer stand silent in the face of
elements of the Affordable Care Act that will destroy the very health
and wellbeing of our members along with millions of other hardworking
Americans.”
This is a stunning turnaround!
++The intensifying political battle.
As
you may know, a renewed political fight has arisen from the President’s
purported postponement of a key element in the law, the so-called
“employer mandate” – a mandate Liberty Counsel is fighting in court!
GOP
leaders have renewed their call for fresh strategies to pull the plug
on ObamaCare – or to render it inoperable. Among the proposed
initiatives…
- Pressure the Obama administration to also delay the individual mandate, which the administration has so far refused to do. Speaker John Boehner and leading Republican Congressmen sent a letter to the President asking for a detailed explanation of the imposed delay of the employer mandate. The letter issued an August 1 reply deadline.
- The defunding and/or repeal of ObamaCare. The House has voted to repeal or defund all or part of ObamaCare 37 times but every initiative so far has died in the Senate. Now, some liberal senators are being forced to rethink their positions.
- The denial of additional funding for the IRS to enforce ObamaCare.
This
battle is escalating quickly now that the administration has overplayed
their hand and has shown how desperate they are to avoid defending
their “train wreck” healthcare law in court.
++The ObamaCare “delays” should be perpetual! ObamaCare must NEVER be fully enacted!
Liberty
Counsel has been engaged in a multi-phased, multi-year legal offensive
against ObamaCare since its passage into law. We are challenging (1) the
employer mandate; (2) the abortion mandate for religious employers; (3)
the abortion mandate for individuals; and (4) the entire law because
tax bills must originate in the House.
Now,
more than ever, I believe Liberty Counsel’s lawsuit against ObamaCare
is America’s best hope to end the federal takeover of our healthcare
system and its deadly impact on our culture!
As
I have been saying to media outlets across the nation since learning of
the Fourth Circuit’s recent ruling, I greatly look forward to bringing
this matter before the Supreme Court! My legal team is already preparing
our appeal.
