RedState ADVISES OF A TRAVESTY IN GEORGIA

Friends,
I felt the need to bring you up to speed on a post from this morning's Morning Briefing.  I have now confirmed that Georgia Right to Life is opposing the the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act (H.R. 1797).  This is the most significant piece of pro-life legislation Congress has considered since the partial birth abortion ban.
Georgia Right to Life is opposed because there is a rape/incest exception.  In other words, they want it all or nothing.  They would rather continue late term abortions all together than ensure some of them are stopped because they want a complete ban or no ban.  Never mind that, in the present political climate, a complete ban is impossible.

It is horrifying that a pro-life group would oppose pro-life legislation that would stop the killing of many, many children.  I have a full update here, including what a member of the Georgia General Assembly told me happened to Georgia legislators as they were considering pro-life legislation.
It is quite disturbing.  Please go here to check it out.
Sincerely yours,

Erick Erickson
