Have you heard this news story? IT'S ALMOST UNBELIEVABLE.
As reported this past week by U.S. News, "When voters in Ohio's 1st Congressional District threw Democrat Steve Driehaus out of office after only one term, he did not bow out gracefully. No, he decided to get even. So he did what anyone does in today's culture: he sued somebody."
"Charging that its activities contributed to his defeat and thus to his 'loss of livelihood,' Driehaus is suing the Susan B. Anthony List, a group that supports pro-life candidates for Congress and which has been one of the leading and most effective organizations involved in the fight to cut off federal funding to Planned Parenthood."
Did you READ that??? This sore-loser Democrat is suing a conservative PAC that told the voters in his district about how he broke his promise to them, and voted for ObamaCare -- and now he's saying they caused him to "lose his livelihood" as a Congressman, so they should PAY UP!
But, as crazy as that is, it's not the worst of it: A federal judge has ruled that this insane lawsuit can actually go forward -- EVEN THOUGH THAT JUDGE IS A FORMER DIRECTOR OF PLANNED PARENTHOOD!
THIS IS THE KIND OF BLATANT CONFLICT OF INTEREST THAT IS SUPPOSED TO GET JUDGES IMPEACHED -- WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT NEEDS TO HAPPEN RIGHT NOW!

The Washington Examiner tells the story: "Even before he was kicked to the curb by Ohio voters, Rep. Steve Driehaus, D-Ohio, tried to silence the Alexandria-based Susan B. Anthony List for criticizing his vote for Obamacare after the Stupak amendment banning the use of federal funds for abortion was stripped out of the bill."
This former Congressman -- who is also formerly pro-life -- originally filled a criminal complaint against the PAC back inOctober of 2010, citing an Ohio statute that makes it a crime to "knowingly tell malicious lies about a public official." Driehaus claimed that Obamacare wouldn't fund abortion... even though dozens of other groups, including both National Right to Life and Ohio Right to Lie, agreed that it WOULD. Because of his charges against them, the PAC wasn't allowed to put up billboards pointing out his betrayal vote on Obamacare! (That's OBVIOUSLY illegal, and even the ACLU stepped in to argue AGAINST the Ohio law!)
The day AFTER he lost the November election, Driehaus finally dropped his criminal complaint. But, as the Examiner points out, "the sore loser is now suing the SBA List in federal court for defamation and 'loss of livelihood' for pointing out his flip-flop on the abortion issue. Driehaus lost his lucrative livelihood in Washington because he cynically tried to play both sides on the abortion issue, which the SBA List had a First Amendment right to point out."
Let the arrogance and gall of what this sore loser Democrat has done sink in for a just a moment. As one bloggerpointed out, "Driehaus is saying that because he lost an election, he had a 'loss of livelihood'... as if he had aright to live off of the taxpayers' dime! Hey, he'd fit right in with the Occupy Wall Street losers, wouldn't he? With that kind of entitlement mentality, no wonder he's a Democrat."
But that's not the worst of it! Not only did the sore loser file suit against this pro-life PAC -- A FORMER DIRECTOR OF PLANNED PARENTHOOD IS THE OBAMA-APPOINTED JUDGE WHO IS ALLOWING THE SUIT TO GO FORWARD!
THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS!!!

Even the lame-stream media is a little shocked at this judge's audacity to allow this case to go forward, when he's the former president and director of the Planned Parenthood Association of Cincinnati. U.S. News & World Report wrote in an editorial, "As seeming conflicts of interest go this one is a real humdinger":
"Is it fair to question Black's ability to be impartial if he used to head up the local affiliate of a national organization one of the parties in the case is trying to defund? Absolutely -- and it's something everyone should see clearly, as they would if the former head of a local gun owners group was given the responsibility for hearing a case testing the constitutionality of a concealed carry law. Never mind the considerable constitutional issues involved; Judge Black needs to step aside and let a different jurist take over the case. And someone, maybe the House Judiciary Committee, needs to take a look at how he was assigned the case in the first place because, right now, the whole thing smells like day-old fish left out in the hot sun."
Actually, the editors at U.S. News were being very nice -- in fact, what Judge Timothy S. Black did was an IMPEACHABLE OFFENSE. The U.S. Constitution, in Article III, Section 1, states that federal judges "shall hold their Offices during good Behavior" -- and knowingly proceeding ahead on a case where you have anobvious conflict of interest is well-recognized as NOT being "good behavior" on the bench! This Obama-appointed liberal judge has crossed the line -- he should NOT be allowed to get away with this!

Fifteen House pro-life Democrats joined Republicans in October to pass the "Protect Life Act" amending the Patient Protection Affordable Care Act (Obamacare), by explicitly prohibiting federal funding of abortion (or abortion coverage) -- because the Obamacare law does NOT.
