Official Launch of the National Government Spending Addiction Week!
Dear Patriots,
Yesterday Grassfire Nation and Patriot Action Network launched the National Government Spending Addiction Intervention week. Ron De Jong, Eric Odom, and Darla Dawald hosted a tele-town hall with special guest Congress Adam Kinzinger. In addition, over 600 grassroots tea partiers joined them on the call!
Congressman Kinzinger stated that we must get America working again. That the government does not create jobs the private sector does. Kinzinger voted in favor of the Cut, Cap, and Balance Act last week. Kinzinger spoke about the debt and the plans and said the tea party elects will be taking a serious look at the total cuts for 2012 and that they will not support tax hikes. The Congressman spoke about the need for the tea party to keep up the hard work. He said that the social media venue is important for us to use and master as we head into the election year. Kinzinger thanked the tea party for continuing to stand and hold Congress and the White House accountable.

We know that Washington has a spending problem and it’s time to intervene! Show them some tough love and them the truth!

- Call Your Representatives (Call all of their offices be polite yet firm)
- Visit Your Representatives Offices (locally alone or with a group)
- Spread the Word (using email, social media, Facebook & Twitter)
- Demand Accountability and that they Slow Down (No rushed bills, transparency)
- Sign the Cut, Cap, and Balance Petition
