DON'T LET OBAMA'S EPA TURN OFF THE LIGHTS
Tell the EPA: We can't afford higher electric bills!
Dear CFIF Activist,
Americans are struggling with the high costs of daily living. Our sluggish economy, unacceptably high unemployment, and soaring food and gas prices have everyday American families struggling to make ends meet.
Yet instead of working to relieve these economic pressures, unelected bureaucrats in Washington D.C. are seemingly working overtime to make matters worse. And if they get their way, consumers will be hit with higher energy bills at a time when we can least afford it.
Currently, Barack Obama's Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is working to impose burdensome new regulations on U.S. power plants. If implemented, these new rules could force approximately 400 facilities to install unnecessary or ineffective environmental technologies.
Scientific studies have demonstrated these plants have little if anynegative effect on surrounding ecosystems. Moreover, the new regulations will cost facilities millions of dollars – costs that will inevitably be passed on to consumers.
In other words, consumers will be left with significantly higher electricity bills.
The EPA is currently accepting comments on its proposed power plantcooling systems regulation. Click here to sign and send a comment letter today.
Sincerely,
