Dear Conservatives,Just yesterday, Project Veritas released a new video exposing the U.S. Justice Department’s gross overreach, this time spying on Veritas journalists’ and security detail’s Apple AND Google accounts. These actions are nothing short of horrifying. Few things shock a person’s conscience these days, but this most certainly qualifies as EGREGIOUS. One of the people who is outraged by the government’s attack on Project Veritas is attorney and fellow journalist, Megyn Kelly. Project Veritas founder and CEO, James O’Keefe, had the privilege to go on her show yesterday to discuss these latest developments. You can watch his interview with her by CLICKING HERE.
Megyn Kelly: We're talking about a diary. I mean, it's not like James O'Keefe is part of a terrorist plot to blow up America as a journalist. You can get stolen goods and you could publish the stolen goods. You just can't help orchestrate the theft. James O'Keefe: You can receive stolen information as a journalist. In fact, that's what journalists do every day. Megyn Kelly: All the time…You've done the unthinkable. You've gotten the ACLU to defend you. So, already, kudos to you. … Megyn Kelly on New York Times’ Matthew Rosenberg being exposed by Project Veritas: "You were not in any danger. The left was so over the top," and on and on. But the piece, again, the pieces that he wrote, "The Next Big Lies: January 6th Was No Big Deal." Then he writes a piece "90 Seconds of Rage..." Uh, then he goes on about how the Capitol attack could "fuel extremist recruitment for years, experts warn" how to, "decode the far-right symbols at the Capitol riot." I mean, he's very, very interested and stirring up emotions on January 6th when he is writing for The Times. Behind the scenes…not so much. He's laughing about what fun the day was, so put that in perspective for us, James. James O'Keefe: He contradicts -- this is a Pulitzer Prize winning reporter for The New York Times, contradicting himself in private, in a social situation where he did not know he was being recorded…So, everything that came out of this man's mouth was a contradiction! It was almost straight out of George Orwell's "1984" -- tell deliberate lies and contradict oneself, and to hold two contradictory beliefs at the same time - and this is a New York Times Pulitzer Prize winner! Megyn Kelly wasn’t the only one in the media who covered this latest bombshell that exposed the federal government’s corruption. Here are some of the outlets that also reported on the Justice Department’s espionage of American journalists:
Those in power who attempt to intimidate and/or silence journalists will be held accountable – Project Veritas will make sure of it. We are happy to see so many free press advocates and media organizations rallying to Veritas’ defense in this case. Now, the ball is in the U.S. Justice Department’s court (no pun intended). Will they continue their reckless and apparently politically motivated persecution of journalists? Or will they finally admit the absurdity of their behaviors? For the sake of the First Amendment, we hope it’s the latter. Be Brave, Project Veritas Team |
