Jacky Rosen voted against middle-class tax relief today, once again choosing loyalty to Nancy Pelosi and petty politics over her responsibilities to Nevadans.
Rosen voted against the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, a historic bill that simplifies the tax code and delivers long-awaited relief to Nevadan families. All told, the bill is estimated to add 8,000 jobs in Nevada and increase median incomes by more than $2,000. This marks the second time in less than a month that Rosen has voted against efforts to jump-start economic growth and let hard-working Nevadans keep more of their hard-earned money.
"Rather than standing up for Nevadans and working to make their lives easier, Jacky Rosen once again chose to stand with Nancy Pelosi. Despite touting herself as an 'independent voice,' Rosen has not wasted any time establishing her loyalty to Democrat Party bosses. Nevada voters will remember her decision to toe the party line and oppose much-needed tax relief come Election Day." - RNC Spokesperson Keelie Broom
