Brexit Devil in the Hair of the Queen !!!
Perversity has been shown since Genesis 3.
Of interest from the 1950's was this fear factor.
The duck and cover mentality took over as there
were designated nuclear fallout shelters and Nike
missile bases everywhere and the devil was literally
in the hair of the Queen of England. Today is proving
to be the same as yesterday. Worry not and report on
tomorrow, for the love of our Lord with His nature taking
over our one-track mind. He is in our hearts all of the time.

More than 300 charged in health care fraud
by Kevin Johnson - USA TODAY

WASHINGTON - Doctors, nurses and pharmacists were among more than 300 charged with health care fraud schemes involving $900 million in false billings in what the Justice Department described Wednesday as the largest such enforcement action in U.S. history. At least 28 doctors were among those charged with a range of offenses, including conspiracy, bribery, money laundering, kickback violations and identity theft, according to federal documents. Sixty suspects allegedly were linked to schemes involving the Medicare prescription drug benefit program known as Part D, which is the fastest-growing component of the Medicare program. [...]

Congress is a Zoo ...
w vid Ryan sends lawmakers home after Dem sit-in fails to force gun control vote

House Speaker Paul Ryan sent lawmakers packing for the holiday break early Thursday morning after a raucous, hours-long sit-in waged by congressional Democrats failed to force a vote on gun control measures. As Ryan decried the protest as a "publicity stunt" -- complete with loud chants and blankets and live-streaming -- Democrats claimed they nevertheless had made "some progress" on the issue. The House adjourned around 3:15 a.m. ET Thursday, and even as Republicans left the buildings, some Democrats stayed on the House floor repeating their chant “No bill no break!” and waving papers with the names of gun victims written in black. Rep. Maxine Waters of California said she was ready to stay “until Hell freezes over.” A core group still lingered on the House floor wrapped in blankets and resting on pillows. [...]

Trump to visit United Kingdom day after 'Brexit' vote
by David Wright - CNN

Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump will visit the United Kingdom on June 24, the day that final results from the highly anticipated "Brexit" vote are expected to be tallied. Trump spokesperson Hope Hicks confirmed that Trump will travel to Scotland on the 24 to visit the Turnberry Golf Resort, a property he has been working to open since buying the Turnberry hotel in 2014. But the timing of Trump's visit, ostensibly for business purposes, is significant. On June 23, the U.K. will vote on the critical issue of whether it should stay in the European Union, a decision with far-reaching consequences for both the country and the institution. A finally tally of the vote is expected on the 24th. [...]

Donald Trump Traveling to Scotland for Golf Course Opening ...
WASHINGTON (AP) - Donald Trump is heading to Britain later this month to open the Trump Turnberry golf resort in Scotland. Trump's June 24 visit will come on the heels of a British referendum over its membership in the European Union. Trump has previously said Britain would be "better off" without the EU, putting him at odds with Prime Minister David Cameron, who is pushing to stay in the bloc. [...]

Trump Will Face Scottish Scorn on His Golf Trip
The land of his mother may not offer a warm embrace.
by Stephanie Baker

Bagpipes often appear at some point on Donald Trump’s visits to Scotland, but on his first foreign trip since becoming the presumptive Republican presidential nominee a less welcome fanfare awaits. Protesters decrying his comments on Muslims and Hispanics will greet Trump on Friday, when he arrives to reopen his luxury golf resort at Turnberry on Scotland’s west coast with a plane full of American media. Adding to the acrimony, the U.K. will be digesting the results of its referendum on European Union membership, another issue where he has courted controversy by saying he thinks the country is better off with a vote to leave. [...]

In bid to reboot, Trump dallies with discipline
GOP presidential hopeful even tries a teleprompter
by Susan Page - USA TODAY

After squandering the seven weeks since he clinched the Republican nomination, Trump is moving to reboot a presidential campaign that has faltered on everything from money and message to ads and organization. He’s shaking up his staff, launching a rapid-response operation, focusing on fundraising and even used a teleprompter (the better to stick to the script) as he delivered a broadside slamming Hillary Clinton as corrupt and incompetent. “Hillary Clinton may be the most corrupt person ever to seek the presidency,” he declared Wednesday, sparking a standing ovation among supporters seated on velvet purple chairs in a ballroom at the Trump SoHo Hotel in New York. He called the presumptive Democratic nominee “a world-class liar.” [...]

w vid Will they stay or will they go? UK votes in historic 'Brexit' referendum
Great Britain is voting on whether they will stay in the European Union or not.
The outcome of that vote could weigh heavily on U.S. economy and intelligence agencies.
Jane Onyanga-Omara and Kim Hjelmgaard - USA TODAY

LONDON - Millions of Britons waited in long lines Thursday to cast a vote in a historic referendum on whether the United Kingdom should remain in the European Union, a decision sure to have global repercussions. Ahead of the vote, a new Ipsos Mori poll completed Wednesday night showed the "remain" supporters with a narrow lead — 52% to 48%. But the polling firm’s chief executive Ben Page said 13% of those polled said they still might change their minds. Another poll, from Populus, gave "remain" 55% and "leave" 45%. Polls opened at 7 a.m. ET (2 a.m. ET) and close at 10 p.m. (10 p.m. ET). The U.K. Electoral Commission said it will announce the results on Friday. [...]

Eastern European enclave in England fears ‘Brexit’ vote
Immigrants worry about welcome if UK decides to split EU
by Kim Hjelmgaard - USA TODAY

BOSTON, ENGLAND After his first visit last year, Warsaw native Peter Ozga realized this rural town on Britain’s eastern shore was a good place to start a Polish-language newspaper. That’s because Boston has a higher proportion of Eastern European migrants than anywhere else in the country, and many arrivals have found a decent life. As Britons vote Thursday on whether to remain in the European Union, the future looks less certain for Ozga and other immigrants from former Soviet bloc states such as Poland, Hungary, Latvia and Lithuania. They flocked to work in Boston’s factories and agricultural industries. Now they wonder whether their jobs will be secure and they’ll still be welcome if a majority of Brits vote for a “Brexit” — a British exit from the 28-nation EU. [...]

Like Trump’s appeal in the U.S., it’s all about taking back power from elites
by David A. Andelman - USA TODAY

VENICE - “Brexit” might well be the end of the world as we know it.
That’s certainly the view from this sun-washed Adriatic paradise in the south of Europe and indeed on much of the rest of the continent of the choice facing British voters. On Thursday, they will go to the polls to decide whether to remain in the European Union or exit it, the first binding stay-or-leave vote by a member nation since the creation of a single boundary-free continent more than three decades ago. The debate has taken on existential overtones on this side of the Atlantic, and the powerful emotions it raises could well produce ripples that affect America’s own future in the world. At its heart, Brexit is all about the question of who’s ruling whom. The vote, Sergio Marchionne told me, is “about the exercise of power by the protected over the unprotected.” The chairman of Fiat Chrysler and one of Europe’s leading industrial figures, Marchionne is a firm believer in a united Europe. But in so many ways, he said, it’s not working.

Project Nike
Project Nike, (Greek: Νίκη, "Victory", pronounced [nǐːkɛː]), was a U.S. Army project, proposed in May 1945 by Bell Laboratories, to develop a line-of-sight anti-aircraft missile system. The project delivered the United States' first operational anti-aircraft missile system, the Nike Ajax, in 1953. A great number of the technologies and rocket systems used for developing the Nike Ajax were re-used for a number of functions, many of which were given the "Nike" name (after Nike, the goddess of victory from Greek mythology).
