In a case brought by former AIG CEO Mo Greenberg, Judge Wheeler ruled the federal government broke the law when it wrested the company away from Greenberg. Combined with other changes in Dodd-Frank, the New York Times’ Dealbook reports it may spell the end for bailouts.
