Fellow Conservatives,

We have been sold out by an elected group of Republican representatives in Carson City that we put in the Majority in November. On June 1st, they pushed for and enabled the largest tax increase in Nevada history by voting for SB 483 (Click to view votes) over $1.4 billion dollars of increased taxation, moving needed resources from the our struggling economy to the unaccountable hands of government bureaucrats and failed programs.

These "Republicans" decided that we needed a gross revenue tax placed on Nevada businesses, the same type of tax we rejected last November by a 4 to 1 margin. They also decided to throw more good money after bad at our failed education system and earmarked hundreds of millions of dollars to hand out to cronies of the Governor's Office of Economic Development. Believing that government bureaucrats have the role in picking winners and losers in our economy.

The time has come for you to step forward and have your voice heard for 2016! The Clark County Republican Party will be holding elections in July to replace the current leadership, and we have a great team of candidates that need your support. Chairman candidate Rob Tyree, a long-time leader in the Nevada grassroots movement will lead a team of outstanding officer candidates. Conservatives candidates will not be successful without YOUR support and YOUR vote.

If you are not currently a member of the Clark County Republican Central Committee (CCRCC), you have one last opportunity to attend a Special Meeting on June 24, 2015 that will qualify you to vote in the July elections. The information for this meeting is below.

This special meeting has been called to pass a resolution condemning the RINO Republicans who voted to pass the largest tax increase in state history, and also a resolution condemning the current party leadership for failing to stand up for our fiscally conservative platform values, since several of them were either in league with the turncoats who voted for higher taxes, or at the very least were complicit due to their lack of action to prevent it. This is our chance to show the RINO’s that we the people will hold them accountable when they lie to us and break their campaign promises.

Your attendance at this meeting is critical if you wish to be able to vote for officers in July. We need to ensure that we have officers running the CCRCC that will be fair to all of the Presidential candidates, rather than selling out for the big money candidates – failing to participate now will pave the way for a candidate like Jeb Bush or Chris Christie to win in Nevada – it’s up to you to stop that from happening.
